Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Buhoma Kanungu and Kisoro, Kabale Uganda
Depending on your location in Kampala, Peak Cruise representative/guide will be picking you up after your breakfast at your hotel for a transfer to Bwindi national park. The park is located in the south western part of the country. This is a 7-8 hours drive with en routes, lunch and at the Equator. On arrival to the park in Kisoro district, you will proceed and check in your lodge for relaxation.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking experience in Bwindi

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Buhoma Kanungu and Kisoro, Kabale Uganda
Have breakfast and transfer you to park offices for briefing about Mountain Gorilla trekking by a local guide. The time taken is usually between 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Meeting the gorillas unexpectedly is one of the most captivating lifetime experiences that will make you want to come back to Uganda. You will have a chance to observe and take pictures at very close range. You will observe adults feeding and groaning among themselves. After an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your guide and rangers will lead you back to the starting point where you will connect for a late lunch then later proceed for a 5 hours drive to Lake Mburo national park. Dinner and overnight at Rwakobo rock lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Murchison falls national park.

Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls P.O.Box 455, Masindi Uganda
On the third day , you will wake up very early in the morning and transfer to Murchison falls National .The drive will take you about 8 to 10 hours. Its a long drive but manageable. You will arrive at the Lodge late in the evening, refresh, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Game drive and launch cruise along the bottom of the falls

Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls P.O.Box 455, Masindi Uganda
After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will go for a morning game drive on the Northern Bank of River Nile. The activity takes about 3-5 hours and it enables you to view variety of wildlife including elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda kobs, Oribis and waterbucks. After the drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon go for a launch cruise along the Nile which will give you an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. Along the cruise, you will encounter crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks like kingfisher, cormorants and bee-eater. You will spend time viewing the falls at the bottom while taking pictures then later return to meet your driver and connect back to your lodge and a relaxed evening. 0R

(OPTIONAL ACTIVITY): after viewing the bottom of the falls, you will hike up to find the falls through Bakers trail and also be able to stand at bakers stone (brings you closer to the bottom of the falls) this hike is a bit tough but it’s fascinating as you will enjoy to see the falls at different points and finally when you reach at the top of the falls, you will be amazed and eventually forget about the tuff hike. After spending a good time at the top of the falls, you will meet your driver who will transfer you back to your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at as above.

Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls P.O.Box 455, Masindi Uganda
Our guide / driver will pick you from your lodge and take you for a game drive that will last about 3 hours. You will encounter lots of animals like Elephants, giraffes ,waterbucks, bushbucks, lions if you are lucky and different species of birds.
Duration: 4 hours

Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala.

Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls P.O.Box 455, Masindi Uganda
After morning breakfast, you will embark on your journey back to Kampala with en route lunch and for about 2 to 3 hours at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino trekking. Then proceed to connect directly to kampala or Entebbe airport for your ongoing flight back home. This is a 6 hours drive to kampala/ Entebbe airport.
