Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park

Pass By: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Buhoma Kanungu and Kisoro, Kabale Uganda
You will be picked from your hotel in Entebbe/ Kampala in the morning and set off a scenic drive to Bwindi National park with stopover at the equator for photography and experimentation. You will also have lunch in Mbarara before continuing to kabale, also know as the Switzerland of Africa. You will reach Bwindi National park in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Buhoma Kanungu and Kisoro, Kabale Uganda
Early morning after your breakfast, you will gather at the park headquarters at 7am for pre tracking briefing where you will get information about the dos and don'ts while with the gorillas. You will also be allocated the gorilla tracking group depending on your fitness level. At 8:30am, you will set off to the forest in search of these amazing apes. This may take 1-6 hours depending on their movement in their natural wild. Once you encounter the gorillas, you will stay with them for one hour taking photography and observing their behavior. You will then descend back and your driver will take you for refreshment. You will later drive to Lake Bunyonyi for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Kampala

Stop At: Forest Cottages, Kampala, Uganda
In the morning after relaxed breakfast, you may have an optional boat cruise around the islands to see the beauty of well terraced hills . You will then set off to Kampala where you may stop at the Equator to take photos and later proceed to Kampala reaching in the evening for overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Murchison Falls National park

Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls P.O.Box 455, Masindi Uganda
In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked from the hotel at 7am and set off to Murchison Falls National Park. You will pass Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking, an activity that will take one hour. You will have lunch and continue to Murchison Falls National park where you will visit the top of the falls for a breathtaking scenic view of the mighty Nile forcing itself through a 7 meter gorge, powering down with a thunderous roar. You will then drive to your Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls P.O.Box 455, Masindi Uganda
Early morning, you will cross over with the ferry and go for game drive up to the northern part of the park. You will be in the look out for game as giraffes, elephants, buffalos, lion, leopard, bush bucks, gazelles among others. You will return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. In the afternoon at 2pm, you will go for a boat cruise on River Nile up to the bottom of the falls. This will reward you with game as Hippos, crocodiles, lots of bird species among others. You will return to the lodge by 4pm for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking and transfer to Entebbe

Stop At: Budongo Forest Chimpanzee Tracking, Budongo Uganda
Early in the morning, you will check out of the lodge and then set off to Budongo Forest where you will have briefing from the park warden before entering the forest for chimpanzee tracking. Tracking will take 1-3 hours and a maximum of one hour is allowed to stay in presence of the chimpanzees. On return, you will set off back to Entebbe passing through Kampala, reaching Entebbe in the evening to check in for your scheduled departure flight.
