Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your lodge

Stop At: Uganda Museum, 5-7 Kira Road Pob 365, Kampala Uganda
You will be welcomed by a guide of Friendly Gorillas Safaris who will transfer you to your hotel/lodge in Kampala. Depending on the time of your arrival, our guide will take you on a city tour for an energizing exploration of the capital – Kampala. Visit some fascinating and historical places, including the Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, the Uganda Museum and obviously the African Craft Village. We likewise encourage you to have cash changed today.

Day 2: Drive from Kampala to Bwindi

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Buhoma Kanungu and Kisoro, Kabale Uganda
After breakfast at your place of stay in Kampala, embark on the transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park departing at 6: 30am.You drive to the country’s south west heading for 527km journey taking about 10 hours’ drive. You drive through the traffic of Kampala and connect to Masaka road on smooth tarmac driving for 77km to make a stop at the Uganda Equator crossing Kayabwe where the world’s main latitude that partitions the world into the northern and the southern hemisphere can be encountered. It is a unique geographical site where water experiments can be carried out to justify the geographical divide between the north and the southern hemispheres. You have an opportunity to take magical photos with one leg in the north hemisphere and another one in the southern hemisphere. Retreat from the break and continue on the drive to Bwindi. A traditional lunch stop can be made at Igongo Cultural Center 12km from Mbarara for a local cuisine prepared in modern setting and served in standard utensils. The food is organically grown and freshly served. Continue on the drive welcomed by the fascinating Kigezi Highlands arriving in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight

Day 3: Gorilla trekking experience at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Buhoma Kanungu and Kisoro, Kabale Uganda
This is a great day that will mark your re-union with your long lost cousins – the mountain gorillas. You gather at the respective park headquarters for briefing in the morning at 8am where you are also allocated the respective gorilla families to track. From here, you head to the forest in the company of the armed ranger guides that will lead you up the gorillas. The walk is beyond the ordinary as it involves traversing the dense jungle whose thickness would at some points necessitate using a machete to make a path, hiking the challenging landscapes some of which are steep and slippery at times under the canopy of the mature forest which forms darkness even during the day. The encounter tends to take 2 – 8 hours depending on the gorilla movements and one hour is availed to you to have a direct touch with the gorillas. Be informed that as when you meet these adorable mammals, you are not limited in any way to ask as many questions about gorillas and their habitats along with taking pictures so long as you have the opportunity to do so. After your one hour with the gorillas, return to the starting point and connect to Lake Bunyonyi for an evening relaxation before proceeding to the lodge for relaxation. In the evening, chilling at the lodge grounds as you enjoy the performance of the local Batwa or the Bakiga that live around the park. They have magical songs and dancing styles which definitely make your evening colourful.

Day 4: Bwindi – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Stop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park, 410 kilometers from Kampala, Kasese Uganda
After breakfast you can have a guided town stroll for a closer gathering with the nearby network. Find out about their method for living as you stroll through espresso, tea and banana estates. A short time later we withdraw to Queen Elizabeth National Park. We will pass the southern division of the recreation centre, called Ishasha and known for the tree-climbing lions. While we proceed to our Accommodation amidst the national stop it is likely that you will recognize some natural life like kobs, waterbucks and warthogs.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda Safaris

Stop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park, 410 kilometers from Kampala, Kasese Uganda
After an early breakfast from your lodging, set off at 6am and associate with the recreation centre to set out on the diversion drive movement at 7am investigating the supernatural natural life of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You drive through Kasenyi fields investigating the Kob’s mating ground and the broad prairie and forest that underpins a bunch of wild amusement including the Cape Buffaloes, the African elephants, Defassa Waterbucks, Bushbucks, the Uganda Kobs, the side stripped jackal, the panther, spotted hyenas, the lions among different species. Withdraw from the 3 – 4 hour action and associate with the hotel for unwinding and lunch after which you interface with the Mweya pier for an evening Kazinga Channel watercraft voyage for conceivable sight of crowds of Hippos, the Nile crocodiles, the water winged animals on the shores and a scope of wild diversion drinking water from the channel. After withdrawing from the journey, interface with the cabin for unwinding, supper and medium-term.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kampala

Stop At: Kyambura Game Reserve (Kyambura Gorge), Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda
After breakfast you will drive through a prairie territory, out of the blue we run over an astonishing chasm of one hundred meters down, secured with tropical rain timberland. You will climb into the canyon of the Kyambura River looking for the wild chimpanzees. It is a lovely stroll through the stream valley, home to numerous winged creatures and butterfly species.

After one of these exercises we will with an affair of a lifetime and extraordinary recollections you will state farewell to the Pearl of Africa. Contingent upon the season of take-off you will be exchanged to the air terminal for your trip back home. We are anticipating seeing you once more!
