Itinerary

Day 1: Travel to Murchison falls national park - Rhino tracking

Pass By: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls P.O.Box 455, Masindi Uganda
Have early breakfast and prepare for pick up from your hotel by 7.00am. Drive northwards on the Kampala - Gulu for approximately two and half hours and get to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Set out for a hike on the sanctuary to track the White Rhinos. In addition to the Rhinos the sanctuary harbors several other wildlife including Hippos, Bushbucks, Oribis, and lots of birds. After close to two hours of trekking, get back on the road and get to Masindi for your lunch, thereafter proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. Check in at your accommodation to relax, have dinner and rest the night.

Day 2: Early morning game drive - boat ride to the bottom of the falls

Pass By: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls P.O.Box 455, Masindi Uganda
Wake up to an early cup of tea/coffee at 6.00 am and at 6.30 am set off for the game drive. Expect sighting of Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Jackson's Hartbeets, Uganda Kob, Warthogs, lots of savanna birds and wonderful scenery. After close to four hours, return to your accommodation for breakfast and lunch. Later set out for the afternoon Launch Cruise along the Nile to the base of the Murchison Falls. There are lots of wildlife sighting along the Nile, including, Hippos, Crocodile, Buffaloes, Elephants, and lots of water birds. At the base of the falls you can opt of the Launch and hike along the falls to the top of the Falls. You meet the driver at the top and transfer to back to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer from Murchison falls to Kibale National Park

Pass By: Kibale National Park, Kasese Uganda
Have breakfast check out of the lodge and leave for Kibale National Park. The drive along the scenic Albertine rift valley continues. You will stopover en route for lunch before proceeding to Kibale Forest National Park. Check into your accommodation that is situated just outside the park for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking Kibale and Bigod nature swampy walk

Pass By: Kibale National Park, Kasese Uganda
Wake up to an early breakfast at 6.30, have breakfast, and transfer to the park offices for briefing. By 8 am you trek into the forest to find the chimps and sight a lot of wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch. Later head out for a nature walk in Bigodi Swamp for sighting of primates and birds. Dinner and overnight at the accommodation.

Day 5: Transfer from Kibale to Bwindi impenetrable National Park

Pass By: Bwindi Inpenetrable Forest, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Uganda
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and travel southwards to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Drive through the southern area of the Queen Elizabeth park called Ishasha. This area is popular for the tree-climbing lions, and if lucky you may see them. Lunch is en route. Check in at your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Gorilla tracking Bwindi and batwa community walk

Pass By: Bwindi Inpenetrable Forest, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Uganda
Wake up to an early breakfast at 6.30 am, pick packed lunch and transfer to the park offices for briefing by the ranges and assign a gorilla group you shall track. At 8 am transfer to the start of the trek and head into the forest to find the Mountain Gorillas. You are allowed no more than an hour with them, return to meet your driver. Return to the lodge for a snack, refresh and then later visit the local batwa community to see the indigenous ways of living. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Transfer from Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi - Canoe ride

Pass By: Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort, Kabale-Kachwekano, Kabale, Uganda
Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxation experience, get to your accommodation in time for lunch. After lunch relax a bit then later go for a canoe ride on one of the deepest lakes in the world. You can choose to ride the canoe yourself or use a guide to ride you. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Travel back to Entebbe - drop off at desired destination

Pass By: Uganda Equator, Masaka Road, Kayabwe Uganda
Wake up and have breakfast, check out of the lodge and travel back to Entebbe to catch your evening flight back home / drop you off at your desired destination. Lunch is en-route. You also get to make a stopover at the Equator point for some picture moments.
