Game Drives and Nature-Murchison Falls National Park

Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up-Rhino Trek-Night game drive

Stop At: Rhino Fund Uganda ( Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary), Gulu Highway Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Nakitoma Uganda
Depart Entebbe Airport driving through Kampala northwards for Masindi and stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking and get a chance to see them, while on foot, grazing in the wild. Enjoy your lunch in a selected restaurant at the sactuary.
Proceed to Murchison driving through the spectacular Budongo forest where you should look out for the various bird and primate species like the Olive baboons and monkeys. Arrive at the park in the evening and enjoy the game drive to the lodge. Check in, relax and wait for a sumptuous dinner at the lodge. Head out for a night game drive to see the nocturnal wildlife like leopards, lions,hyenas among others.
Return to the lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Game drives, Launch trip

Stop At: Paraa Masindi, Murchison Falls National Park Uganda
Wake early in the morning and have a cup of coffee. Head for a balloon safari and enjoy the view of the park while up in the sky(Luxury Travelers). For budget travelers, a morning game drive avails the same exeperience.
Enjoy a mouthwatering breakfast in the wild.
Return to the lodge and enjoy yet another game drive, expect to see many giraffes, large herds of buffaloes, water bucks, kobs, among others. Relax at the lodge as you wait for lunch. After lunch, start your amazing boat launch trip at 2pm to the bottom of the falls on the Albert Nile. This cruise upstream to the bottom of the falls is one of the unforgettable experiences the park has to offer and it gives you an opportunity to view elephants, schools of hippos, crocodiles, lions, and an abundance of bird life including the famous shoebill stork. Return to your lodge in time for your sumptuous dinner.

Day 3: Murchison Falls-Departure

Stop At: Paraa Masindi, Murchison Falls National Park Uganda
Enjoy your breakfast at the lodge.
Checkout and depart with a packed meal to the top of the falls. Enjoy the spectacular view of the water funning into the 7 meter wide gorge resulting into a waterfall of astonishing power and one of Uganda's most spectacular sights. Enjoy your meal as you listen to the falls just nearby.

Depart the park for Entebbe Airport for your outbound Flight/Apartment/Hotel
