Day 1: Bwindi National Park

Gorilla Tracking at Bwindi National Park

Bwindi is a home of over 800 Mountain Gorillas wild wide; it is a home of almost half of the world’s gorilla population. In some years back there was no place for viewing these gorillas at a close range but thanks to the wildlife conservation program that the number of gorillas has increased from 300 to 400 in the recent years. These include nine different families that are habituated for tourism purposes. Apart from the famous gorilla residents, the dense forest hosts 9 other primates like the red tailed monkeys among other wildlife.
