Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVE ENTEBBE, UGANDA

Stop At: Lake Victoria, Entebbe Uganda
Upon arrival in Entebbe, you are met by a Wild Route representative and transferred to your tranquil hotel fronting Africa’s largest lake. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure.
Duration: 12 hours

Day 2: FLY TO ISHASHA SECTOR

Stop At: Ishasha Jungle Lodge, Kihihi, P.O.Box 2874 Kampala Uganda, 256, Uganda
Fly to the Kihihi airstrip and transfer to your permanent tented campsite in the savannah of the park, enjoying some time at leisure. Later, visit traditional art and music group made of a number of more than 15 children from the nearby village supported by Wild Route Philanthropy.

Day 3: ISHASHA SECTOR | TREE CLIMBING LIONS

Stop At: ishasha sector, Entrance Gate, Uganda
After breakfast, you will drive to Ishasha side of Queen Elizabeth National park for your morning game drive. Ishasha is popular for tree climbing lions and chances of seeing them climbing depends on your luck of the day. Ishasha has other animals like Buffaloes, Elephants, Antelopes and many others. You may also drive to River Ishasha to see the border of Uganda and the Democratice Republic of Congo.

Return to the set off for Bwindi impenetrable forest to your permanent tented campsite in the mist-swathed mountains of the park, enjoying some time at leisure.

Day 4: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK | ENCOUNTER OF A LIFETIME

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Buhoma Kanungu and Kisoro, Kabale Uganda
Today, trek through the park’s dense vegetation, travelling up and down its steep slopes in search of the resident mountain gorillas. Your guides use their experience, knowledge of the gorillas’ habits and information from the previous day to locate them. Once the gorillas are spotted, observe their subtle social interactions, remarkable behaviours closely resembling our own.

Famous for its remarkable biodiversity, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to many endangered species including roughly half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas.

Visits are strictly controlled to minimise the possibility of disturbance or transmission of disease to the animals.

Day 5: DEPART ENTEBBE

Stop At: Entebbe International Airport, 14 Kitaasa Rd, Entebbe, Uganda
Enjoy a scenic flight from the Kihihi airstrip back to Entebbe, where a reserved dayroom awaits for you. Later, transfer to the airport for your international departure.
Duration: 12 hours
