Itinerary

Day 1: Airport to kibale National park

Stop At: Kibale National Park, Kibale National Park, Western Region
You will start your drive to western Uganda through the beautiful green scenery and the tea plantations. You will have a chance to interact with local people during the walk through the market after lunch. After lunch, you will have a one hour drive to Kibale forest where you will be able to spot some monkeys, birds, and Baboons on your way and during the stop-over. You will sleep at any of the suggested accommodations below according to your budget.

Day 2: chimpanzee trekking

Stop At: Kibale National Park, Kibale National Park, Western Region
Today you will have your breakfast at the lodge and prepare for your trip for Chimpanzee walk. Kibale forest National Park consists of around 13 primate species. While at the park, you will be able to see many types of monkeys like; the wonderful Red Columbus, Grey-cheeked mangabey, Black and white Columbus monkey, L’hoest monkey and the amazing Chimpanzees. Here you will experience our cousins today for one hour and the trip takes 3-4 hours to walk through the tropical rain forest with the experienced guide. After lunch, you will visit Bigodi swamp for the walk to spot some monkeys and bird species and that takes you through grassland, small communities where the locals are very enthusiastic to shake hands with white people through coffee plantations and peoples gardens to see how they do daily work.

Day 3: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth national park

Stop At: Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Western Region
After breakfast, we drive to Queen Elizabeth national park, driving through the crater lakes region of Kabarole and do a mini-game drive as we enter the park and check into the service of park view safari Lodge. We have lunch and relax around and later at 3:00 pm go for the boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel to view the wildlife from close quarters as they cool off along the shores of the Channel that connects Lakes George and Edward. Come back to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth bwindi impenetrable national park

Pass By: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Western Region
The day begins early as we start the game drive at 6:30 am in the Kasenyi plains in search for wildlife which includes the Buffalos, Kobs, Warthogs, Elephants, Waterbucks, Lions, Hyenas, and on lucky days leopards among others. After the game drive that takes about 2 – 3 hours, we go back to the lodge for breakfast, check out and drive to Bwindi through Ishasha sector where tree climbing lions can be seen according to the luck of the day. We have lunch en-route (packed) and later check in to the service of Buhoma community Rest Camp

Day 5: Gorilla tracking

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Western Region
After breakfast, at about 7:45 am, we walk down to the visitors’ center for registration and briefing before starting the gorilla trekking. The exercise may be strenuous walking up steep hills sometimes under muddy conditions. This activity may take about 2 – 8 hours, experiencing the Gorilla World, and for conservation purposes when you get them, you spend one hour with them and the guide will advise you on how to behave while with these great apes. You later come back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Bwindi to lake mburo national park

Stop At: Lake Mburo National Park, Mbarara Uganda
After breakfast, we check out and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, passing through the rolling hills of Kabale and Mbarara, with lunch en-route, arriving in the afternoon and check-in to the service of Eagles’ Nest. Then later in the afternoon, at about 04:00 pm, go for the boat cruise on Lake, this can take about one and a half hours. We later come back to the camp for dinner and overnight

Day 7: Lake mburo to Airport or Kampala

Stop At: Entebbe, Entebbe, Central Region
The day begins early as we go for the morning nature walk in search of wildlife that includes Buffaloes, Zebras, Warthogs, Impalas, Eland (Africa’s biggest antelope), Topis, Bushbucks, Reedbucks, Waterbucks, Oribis, Bush Pigs and Leopards among others. This normally takes about two hours according to how much you use on the walk and the interest you have in what you see. This is one of the best walks we have in Uganda. We come back to lodge, have breakfast and afterward transfer back to Kampala with lunch en-route arriving later in the afternoon and check into our lace of accommodation for dinner and overnight or we go straight to the airport for your flight home depending on your flight program.
