Itinerary

This tour will guide you around the Tsurugi town area laying at the foot of Mt. Haku、one of three famous mountains (Mt. Fuji / Mt. Tateyama / Mt. Haku) in Japan. Through the tour, you will experience rich nature of Mt Haku, Japanese local life, and the culture of Tsurugi.
The tour starts from cycling along the Tedori River (the name is also used for famous sake brewed in this region), and heads to Sishishiku hill from where you can enjoy the beautiful sceneries include rice terraces, seasonal flowers, or Tsurugi townscape. On the top of the hill, we will visit a museum where we can review a gigantic wood carved lion head being used for local festivals. The tour includes delicious lunch at mountain hut style restaurant where you can enjoy fresh local chars grilled at hearth right in front of your eyes. The dishes include seasonal Japanese herbs freshly plucked at mountain area by the chef in the morning.
