About this activity
Kandy is virtually hidden behind a thick curtain of natural foliage in the form of lush tropical forests and a 60-hectare botanical garden. Dalada Maligawa, “Palace of the Sacred Tooth Relic”- the symbol of sovereignty of the nation, a must visit the site in your Sri Lanka Holiday. The splendor of the great pageant of the “Esala Perahera” reaffirms its sanctity each year in July/August.
We will pick you at your hotel and proceed to Kandy tour. (0900AM After breakfast) Head to Kandy View Point and see the Temple of Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), followed by the Gem Museum, Common wealth War cemetery, Traditional Batik Factory, wood carving workshop,Ambekka, Lankathilaka & Gadaladeniya temples and enjoy the Kandyan cultural show in the evening (on your choice).
