About this activity
Your tour begins with picking you up from your hotel at 7:00 am in the morning. We will be visiting Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens, Orchid greenhouse and the National Herbarium. Educative and informative visits to get to know about plant world. We stop for a one hour lunch break based on your food preference. You can enjoy the authentic Kandyan Local food we can recommend you place for lunch.
Among the other attractions we visit returning to Kandy is the famous 3 temples. Namely Ambekke, Gadaladeniya and Lankathilaka. Famous for wood cravings and bronze decorations. Tea museum and gem shops, Home based artisan batik works. Then it's time to visit Kandy This sacred Buddhist site, popularly known as the city of Senkadagalapura, was the last capital of the Sinhala kings whose patronage enabled the Dinahala culture to flourish for more than 2,500 years until the occupation of Sri Lanka by the British in 1815. It is also the site of the Temple of the Tooth Relic (the sacred tooth of the Buddha), which is a famous pilgrimage site. To end the tour, we take you to attend the Kandy Cultural show which ends with live fire walking.
On completion of the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel (Within Colombo City Range) or Airport.
