Tour Itinerary
We will pick you from any hotel in Kandy.
First we leave for Hindu Temple in Matale, the
Sri Muthumariamman Temple, which is dedicated to Mariamman who is the hoddess of rain and fertility. One of the most visually dominant features of this temple is it's 55m high Gopuram (Raja Koburum), a large decorated tower located above the main northern gateway to the temple.
Next will be visit at the Sigiriya Lion Rock which you will climb to reach the
Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Sigiriya is one of UNESCO's listed World Heritage Site for its preserved ancient urban planning.
When you come down from the sigiriya on your request will have a nice lunch near sigiriya and then, we move to
Dambulla Cave Temple. This is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m over the surrounding plains and there are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. The major attractions are spread over five caves which contains statues and paintings.
Finally we visit the
Spice Garden, where you will be introduced to different spices and shown how some these spices are grown and processes. You will also be able to purchase these spices if you wish.
Then we return back to starting point and tour finish.
