Filip from "Walking Prague" was my tour guide. He has a great depth of knowledge of the area and very personable. Certainly recommend using his company again. As castles go, Loket is small but interesting. The castle prison / dungeon area had visual and sound effects to give you the feeling of what it was like back then. Good Czech food at the local restaurant. Karlovy Vary is a town with a hot springs built specifically for tourists. It has no real historical value, except that King Charles discovered it while hunting. The town was entertaining nonetheless. It was a good day trip.
