About this activity
Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu/meet & transfer to hotel

Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, you shall be met then transferred to your hotel. O/N Hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing around Kathmandu

After breakfast is sightseeing around the Kathmandu city visiting various religious and historical sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath – Monkey Temple, Pashupatinath & Boudhanath; all UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Later on return back to hotel. O/N Hotel.

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara (827m)

Drive to Pokhara after breakfast via a scenic route passing along village, small towns, rivers etc. O/N Hotel.

Day 4: Drive to Nayapul & trek to Tikhedunga (1540m) 4-5 hrs 

Early in the morning, drive to Nayapul which takes about 1 hour drive to begin the trek alongside the river Modi Khola. En-route, you will pass along a large and prosperous town of Birethanti before reaching Tikedhunga. O/N Lodge.

Day 5: Tikhedunga to Ghorepani (2870m) 5-6 hrs

After breakfast, begins the trek where the trail first crosses Tikhedhunga and continue on to the large Magar village of Ulleri (2080m). Then you continue to Banthali (2250m), before passing through the magnificent oak and rhododendron forests en-route to Nangathanti (2460m). After an hour walk uphill Ghorapani is reached. O/N Lodge.

Day 6: Visit Poon Hill (3210m) – Ghorepani to Tadapani (2710m) 6-7 hrs

Early in the morning, you will hike for an hour to Poon Hill (3210m). Arriving at sunrise, the vantage-point of Poon Hill offers magnificent views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Himchuli and Machhapuchchhre mountains. Then return back to the hotel; breakfast and start the trek to Gurung Hill. The trail crosses pine and rhododendron forests on the way down to Deorali (3090m) and Banthati (2650m). Passing Banthati you will then head down to a small river and climb up the trail heading to Tadapani. O/N Lodge.

Day 7: Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940m) 4 hrs

The trail descends steeply through the forest to Baisi Kharka, where you will cross a stream and proceed towards the beautiful village of Ghandruk. Here you will be treated to stunning views of Annapurna South and the Annapurna Conservation Area Project before spending the night at Ghandruk. O/N Lodge.

Day 8: Ghandruk to Nayapul (1070m) & drive to Pokhara 3-4 hrs

From Ghandruk the trail descends to Chane (1690m) and to Kimchi (1640m). The trek then follows the ridge downhill to Kehone Danda and Kliu (1390m), before making a suspension bridge crossing over the Sadhu Khola River. Finally you will arrive alongside the Modi Khola, where you will reach Shauli Bazaar (1140m). Passing through the lovely birch forest you will then visit Lamakhet and Birethanti (1000m). Walking about 30 minutes the trek reaches Nayapul and from there it is a one hour drive to Pokhara. O/N Hotel.

Day 9: Drive to Kathmandu

Today drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara which is 6 hours approx. O/N Hotel.

Day 10: Trip concludes 

You shall be transferred to the airport for your onward destination.
