Itinerary

Day 1: Arrived in Kathmandu

Pass By: Tribhuvan International Airport
Our representative will meet you on your arrival at the Airport and transfer you to the Hotel. An information session about the program will be conducted by our Tour Guide. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing in the Kathmandu Valley

Stop At: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
Early in the morning after breakfast, our tour guide will takes you for the sightseeing around the Kathmandu, the sightseeing site are- Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous ‘Monkey Temple’ (Swayambhunath) and Buddhists shrine (Bouddhanath) which is one of the large Stupas in the world. In the late afternoon you will have preparation for the trek and you can buy necessary equipment.
Kathmandu Durbar Square (World Heritage Site)
This complex of palaces, courtyards and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries, used to be the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu. There are also three museums inside the palace building.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Swayambhunath Stupa
You can watch over the valley from the top of a hillock on its western side. Swoyambhu is also known as Samhengu and the Monkey temple because of the countless monkeys living in the premises.

Stop At: Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
Pashupatinath is one of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world and lies 5 kms east of the city center. The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred Linga, or phallic symbol, of Lord Shiva.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
It is 2500 years old Buddhist stupa in the Valley built in 5th century with four pairs of eyes of Lord Buddha in four cardinal directions keeping an eternal watch over the people and their doings. You will find Buddhist pilgrims from Tibet going round the stupa spinning the prayer wheels.

Day 3: Fly to Lukla (2804 m) and Trek to Phakding (2610 m) - approx 3 hours

Stop At: Tenzing-Hillary Airport
An early morning start takes us to the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu for the 35-minute scenic flight to Tenzing-Hillary Airport at Lukla (2804 m). On arrival at the airport, the guide will brief you and introduce our porters before we begin our trek towards Phakding (2610m).
After landing we have time to explore the village while our Sherpa crew sort and load our trekking equipment. Then we begin our trek by descending towards the Dudh Kosi River where we join the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaurikharka (2713 m). The walking is easy. After passing through the small village of Ghat (2550 m), it is a short walk to Phakding. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441m) - approx 6 hours

Stop At: Namche Bazaar, Namche Bazaar, Khumbu, Sagarmatha Zone, Eastern Region
We continue trekking along the banks of the Dudh Kosi, crossing the majestic river many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. After entering the Sagarmatha National Park, the trail climbs steeply with breathtaking views. Namche Bazaar (considered the Gateway to Everest) is home to many quality restaurants, hotels, lodges, shops, money exchange services, internet cafes and bakeries. Namche is the biggest town along the Everest trail. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 5: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization Day

Stop At: Hotel Everest View
We will spend a day in Namche Bazaar in order to acclimatize and adjust to the thinning air. We will trek a short distance to a museum that is celebrated for its exhibits of the traditional customs of the Sherpa people. We will also hike up the Syangboche Airport and the Everest View Hotel, one of the highest-placed hotels in the world. From this point, we can see rewarding views of the Himalayas including Mount Everest. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 6: Trek to Tengboche (3860m) - approx 5 hours

Stop At: Tengboche Gompa, Tengboche, Sagarmatha Zone, Eastern Region
The trek continues along the rushing glacial waters of the Dudh Kosi with magnificent views of the mountains. We’ll have trekked to an altitude of 3860 m upon reaching Tengboche. Inside the monastery are incredibly ornate wall hangings, a 20-foot sculpture of Buddha, and the musical instruments and robes of the Lamas. The group will be taken to observe a prayer ceremony either in the evening or in the morning depending on how the trekking goes this day. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 7: Trek Back to Namche Bazaar (3441m) - approx 4 hours

Stop At: Namche Bazaar, Namche Bazaar, Khumbu, Sagarmatha Zone, Eastern Region
Following the same trail, leaving the mountains behind us, our descent takes us from Tengboche (3860m) to the town of Namche Bazaar. Overnight at guesthouse.
Duration: 5 hours

Day 8: Trek to Lukla (2804m) - approx 6 hours

Stop At: Tenzing-Hillary Airport
This is our last day of trekking as we return to Lukla where the trek began. We enjoy this time to reflect on the trek as a group and the personal achievement of all those who took part. The afternoon is free, so you can wander about, relax and enjoy a hot shower! In the evening, have a few celebratory drinks and dance with your trekmates. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 9: Fly Back to Kathmandu

Stop At: Thamel, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
On your flight back to Kathmandu as you leave Lukla, you can enjoy some last-minute glimpses of the mountains. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our airport representative will transfer you to your hotel from the airport. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Leisure Day and Farewell Dinner in Kathmandu

Stop At: Thamel, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
Today we will have free day at Kathmandu for personal activities and you can buy souvenir to your friends, family and relatives. In the evening you will have Farewell dinner with our tour guide. In the evening we will have a farewell dinner in a traditional Nepalese restaurant with cultural performances. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Farewell

Pass By: Tribhuvan International Airport
Today as per your international flight time, keep your confirmed air ticket, and your passport handy. Our office staff will take you to the airport for your final departure from this amazing country, Nepal.
