Itinerary

Day 1: Arrived in Kathmandu

Pass By: Tribhuvan International Airport
Our representative will meet you on your arrival at the Airport and transfer you to the Hotel. An information session about the program will be conducted by our Tour Guide. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu fly to Lukla and same day to Phakding

Stop At: Dudh Koshi River, Sagarmatha National Park, Sagarmatha Zone, Eastern Region
Early morning drives to Tribhuvan International Airport and then 35-minute scenic flight to Lukla airport. In Lukla, you will be introduced with your Guide and Porters. Our Everest Panoramic Trekking starts from here passing along the left bank of Dudh Koshi before reaching Phakding.

Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m)

Stop At: Namche Bazaar, Namche Bazaar, Khumbu, Sagarmatha Zone, Eastern Region
From Phakding, our trail crosses the suspension bridge over the Dudh-Kosi. The walk is pleasant with few short uphill and downhill, with magnificent views of Thermasarkhu (6,608m), then reaching a small village of Monjo, the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park. A short descent to the Jorsaleand Village and the trail levels for some time. We are now heading towards Namche Bazaar- the walk along the riverbed is pleasant before winding uphill path, with the magnificent view of Kwangde peak, Kusum kangru Mt.Everest- Nuptse wall, Lhotse, and Taweche peak in the background. Namche Bazaar is the capital of Sherpa people, distinct for its colorful houses, monasteries located at high altitude. We will be careful to avoid altitude sickness.

Day 4: Leisure at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization

Stop At: Sagarmatha National Park Museum, Namche Bazaar, Khumbu, Sagarmatha Zone, Eastern Region
Suggested activities on this rest day include a short walk uphill to the Sagarmatha National Park Headquarter, a magnificent spot perched on top of Namche Bazaar with the breathtaking view of the surrounding snowcapped giants and the valleys below. We will visit Sagarmatha Museum that consists of information regarding the history of the Himalayas, geographic, culture, mountaineering flora, and fauna of this region. The afternoon is spared for leisure.

Day 5: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization Day

Stop At: Hotel Everest View
We spend a day in Namche Bazaar in order to acclimatize and adjust to the thinning air. We will trek a short distance to a museum that is celebrated for its exhibits of the traditional customs of the Sherpa people. We also hike up the Syangboche Airport near the Everest View Hotel. From this point, we can see rewarding views of the Himalayas with a stunning sunrise and sunset over the panorama of Khumbu peaks.

Day 6: Trek to Dole (4200m)

Stop At: Phortse Bridge
After the breakfast, we start walking on the same route to the Everest Base Camp until a place called Sanasa. From there, the trail ascends towards Mongla (4000 m). The outstanding views of the mountains keeps accompanying throughout the trail. Passing through the beautiful rhododendron forests, we descend towards Phortse Tenga and steeply climb to reach Dole. The total walk will be of 6 hours from Namche Bazaar.

Day 7: Trek to Machherma (4470 m)

Stop At: Machhermo
The early morning we continue to climb along the sides of the beautiful valley and walk through small thorny bushes that takes us to the scrub juniper. As the altitude increases, we can see the summer settlement areas where during the summer time, yaks are taken to pastures for grazing. As we walk up these areas, we can witness the beautiful Cho Oyu Mountain. After walking for 5 hours we finally reach Machherma.

Day 8: Trek to Gokyo Ri (5483 m)

Stop At: Gokyo Lakes, Sagarmatha National Park, Sagarmatha Zone, Eastern Region
Early in the morning, we have a steep climb up to the top of Gokyo Ri at an elevation of 5,483 m. There are ample rewards for those who attempt this trip. You get stunning views of the super Gokyo valley, the massive Ngozumpa glacier and an incredible panoramic view of the whole Khumbu Himalayas, including the giants; Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Cho-Oyu and Gychung Kang.

Day 9: Trek to Lunden (4300m) via crossing Renjo La Pass (5340m)

Stop At: Khumjung Gompa
The early morning trek of 3 hours takes us to a truly amazing high pass of Everest Region; Renjo-La Pass. The views of Mount Everest, Cholatse and Taboche will be more than exhilarating. Continuing on with the trek we walk down the trail heading to the destination for the day, Lunden. While on the trail we can see the amazing snow peaks. The total trek for the day will be of 7 hours.

Day 10: Trek to Thame (3800m)

Stop At: Khumjung
After breakfast, we head back to the trail which mostly descends down to the village of Thame. While on the trail we can see amazing snow peaks. About 150 meters above Thame, there is a Thame Monastery, a picturesque monastery set among the many homes of monks and lay people. It resides on the side of a hill overlooking the valley. This is the site for the spring celebration of the Mani Rimdu festival, held about the middle of May each year.

Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441m)

Stop At: Namche Bazaar, Namche Bazaar, Khumbu, Sagarmatha Zone, Eastern Region
Thame is a traditional Sherpa village that has escaped the crowds trekking to Everest and has one of the oldest monasteries in the region. The village is notably the hometown of Apa Sherpa who has made it to the summit of Everest 21 times! The walk itself is peaceful with excellent views of the mountains as it winds in and out of the forest on the side of the canyon. This day, we continue our journey walking down the hill from Thame. The trek will be easy and short and the final destination for the day and the trip will be at Namche Bazar.

Day 12: Trek to Lukla (2804 m)

Stop At: Lukla Airport Viewpoint
Finally we return back to Lukla where the trek began, which will seem like ages ago. It will give you time to reflect on the trek also giving you time to explore the town.

Day 13: Fly to Kathmandu

Pass By: Thamel, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
Enjoying the last glimpse of the mountains we have recently visited, the 35 minutes scenic flight takes us back to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu, we are met and transferred back to our starting hotel.

Day 14: Leisure Day and Farewell Dinner in Kathmandu

Stop At: Garden of Dreams, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
After exhausting climbing and trekking, this is a rest day for you. Get your body massaged, leisurely stroll around Thamel and buy souvenirs, visit Garden of Dreams for some relaxing time. This is also a spare day to use for flight back to Kathmandu in case there wasn’t a flight the day before due to bad weather.
And, in the evening we will host farewell dinner in a traditional Nepalese restaurant with cultural performances.

Day 15: Final Departure

Pass By: Tribhuvan International Airport
The trip concludes – our airport representative will drop you to Kathmandu’s Tribhuwan International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal.
