Day 1: Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (Altitude 1400 m)

Stop At: Thamel, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
Nepal Big Mountain Travel believes in persistence and belongingness. On day 1, arrival day, a representative in formal attire with garlands (Mala) and traditional Buddhist ceremonial scarf (Khata) will welcome you. This is a traditional welcoming gesture of Nepalese. The representative will guide you to the hotel. You can wander around the streets of Thamel and explore shops during the late afternoon. Then, a cultural dinner is presented overnight at 3 – star hotel in Kathmandu or similar class.

Day 2: Day 2: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu

Stop At: Thamel, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
Today you will be visiting three amazing places in Kathmandu. UNESCO has listed these places in the world heritage site. You will first go to Bouddhanath Stupa, which is one of the largest stupas in South Asia. You can see Tibetan monasteries around it and explore stupa built in Buddhist style. You then proceed towards Pashupatinath, a famous temple that is visited by the Hindus as a sacred place. Pashupati is also famous for the monkeys. Pashupati Nath Temple is home to Lord Shiva. It has greater religious significance and has numerous Hindu deities around. Moving on, you go to Swoyambhunath, the monkey temple. The temple also joins the Buddhist as well as Hindu culture. This will be a perfect day for your wonderful journey to Nepal giving you a hint of unity in diversity. You will get the opportunity to see the life cycle of Buddha carved in stones and various sculptures.

Day 3: Day 3: Drive to Nagarkot (Altitude 2175 m)

Stop At: Nagarkot Nature Trail, Nagarkot Nepal
Morning greets you with a warm sunrise view. After having breakfast to recreate yourself for the trip, you move on to Nagarkot in a private vehicle. A one and a half hours’ drive will drop you to Nagarkot for the eye-catching scenery. From Nagarkot, you can see beautiful peaks from Dhaulagiri to Everest to Kanchenjunga including peaks from Langtang Himalayan range in the north. To make your spirit smile is the main attraction of the day. You can observe the view of the sunset from the hotel. You will be spending the night in 3 - Star Hotel or similar class at Nagarkot.

Nagarkot is a place for the outdoor explorers to view the nature, beautiful peaks in a panoramic view. It is a city with a high abundance of natural beauty. Highest peaks of the world are still for your observation.

Day 4: Day 04: Nagarkot Sunrise and Bhaktapur Sightseeing and Departure

Stop At: Nagarkot Nature Trail, Nagarkot Nepal
The first ray of light will start your religious day. Subsequent to your breakfast, you will start your journey to Bhaktapur Durbar Square enlisted in UNESCO world heritage site. Bhaktapur Durbar Square offers you various attractions like Changunarayan Temple, the 55 Windows Palace, Krishna Mandir and many more. Later that day on reaching Kathmandu, in the evening you can visit Thamel area and shop unique handicrafts there. The night will be spent at 3 – star hotel in Kathmandu or similar class.

Major portions of the visit were made by the late kings of Nepal. The 55 Windowed Palace was first made like a fort to view the whole area from any direction possible. Similarly, Changunarayan offers you various handmade arts of the deities craved in stones. The tour guide will proudly associate you with the information. It is a must for you to try the famous curd known as the “juju dhau”. With the conclusion of necessary steps for departure, a representative of Nepal Big Mountain Travel will drop you to Tribhuvan International Airport.
