Day 1: Arrive Phuentsholing (250m)

Pass By: Bhutan Gate, Indo-Bhutan Border Road, Phuentsholing 21101 Bhutan
Phuentsholing is the entry point in between Bhutan & India.

Day 2: Phuentsholing to Thimphu (2350m)

Pass By: Thimphu Chorten (Memorial Chorten), Thimphu Bhutan
Early morning drive from Phuentsholing towards Thimphu following Pa Chhu downstream which takes 6-7 hours. In Thimphu, visit Buddha Point, Takin Preserve, Tashichoe Dzong, National Memorial Chorten and Centenary Farmers Market.


Pass By: Paro River, Paro Bhutan
Arrive Paro and drive to Thimphu. Enjoy the scenery of Paro river and Paro valley.

Pass By: Buddha Dordenma, Kuensel Phodrang Viewing Point, Thimphu 11001 Bhutan

Pass By: Tashichho Dzong, Chhagchhen Lam, Thimphu, Bhutan

Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha (1310m)

Pass By: Punakha Dzong, Punakha 13001 Bhutan
After breakfast, drive for about 1 & half hour to Punakha. Climb up the mountain road to Dochu La at 3140m and then descend through varied forest all the way to Punakha. Take a short hike through beautiful rice fields to Chimmi Lhakhang.


Pass By: Dochula Pass, Thimphu Bhutan
Dochula Pass offers majestic Himalayan panorama of the eastern Himalayas. There are 108 chortens at the pass.

Stop At: Chimi L'hakhang Temple, Punakha Bhutan
Chimi Lhakhang is the fertility temple dedicated to Drukpa Kunley.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 4: Punakha to Paro (2250m)

Pass By: Dochula Pass, Thimphu Bhutan
Drive to Paro re-crossing Dochula. In Paro, visit Rinpung Dzong built in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, the first spiritual and temporal ruler of Bhutan.

Ringpung Dzong is the center of attraction in Paro.

Day 5: In Paro – Hike to Taktsang Monastery ‘Tigers’ Nest’ (3120m)

Stop At: Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest), Taktsang Trail, Paro 11001 Bhutan
After breakfast drive towards the base camp of Taktsang for the hike up to the Taktsang Monastery-Tiger’s Nest. Then visit the Taktsang Monastery and hike back to the road point then drive to Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred shrines in Bhutan. Afterwards, back to hotel.

Enjoy the visit to Taktsang Monastery, Bhutan.

Kyichu Lhakhang is one of the oldest temple in Bhutan.
