Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu Overnight in Hotel

Stop At: Clear Sky Treks & Expedition, Satghumti,Thamel seven corner Junction, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
After you are receiving in Airport then bringing to hotel then will bring to our office for giving the program information and at the same time introducing with guide.

Stop At: Kathmandu, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital city of the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal.You will be met on airport and transferred to your hotel. After the arrival, the group will be formally introduced to Guide for the activities over the next few days. One should pay attention in particular to the safety aspects of the briefing. Any questions or doubts should be asked and clarified at this time. We check your insurance details and other requirement for your trekking.

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara overnight in Hotel B/B

Stop At: Pokhara, Pokhara, Gandaki Zone, Western Region
After breakfast Drive or to Pokhara. Pokhara is situated on the side of Lake Fewa, it is a beautiful area with Fishtail mountain (Machhapuchhare) rising not far behind within the Annapurna range. Only 200km from Kathmandu it can take 5 hours by road depending on the season .

Day 3: Drive to Nayapul & trek to Tikhedhunga (1430m/5hrs)

Stop At: Tikhedhunga, Tikhedhunga, Seti Zone, Far-Western Region
After breakfast drive to Birethanti & begin your trek to Tikhedhunga which takes about five hours. The first part of your trek is easy passing through numerous small villages and settlements. Afterwards you could ascend gently to the final destination of the day. The majority people here are Gurung and their religion is Buddhist. They are engaged in agricultural activities, tourism business and some in Gorkha and Indian regiments.

Day 4: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2750m)

Stop At: Ghorepani, Ghorepani, Dhaulagiri Zone, Western Region
We make our ascent to the Ghorepani village. This day we begin our trek ascending to Banthanti, Magar villages. On the way, you could see good view of Machhapuchhre or Fish Tail (6997m.), Huinchuli (6441m.), and Annapurna (7219m.) South. Now your trail is quite easier passing through forest and descends gently up to the final camp. You could see some of the wild life such as monkey and various species of birds. The name Ghorepani in Nepali means ‘horse-water’ owing to its role as an important campsite for traders before it became a trekker's stop.

Day 5: Hike to Poon Hill for sunrise mountains view (3210m) & trek to Tadapani(2700m/s).

Stop At: Tadapani, Ghandruk 33700, Nepal
Today is a special day because we conquer Poon Hill- an icon of Annapurna region. We climb the steep trail to the viewpoint of Poon Hill (3210mtrs). The efforts will be rewarded with spectacular views of Machhapuchre, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and the Annapurnas. After taking photos and having some coffee, tea or hot chocolate, we return back to Gorepani. After breakfast, we head east and climb a nearby ridge. We descend through rhododendron forest, pass by spectacular waterfalls along the way and reach Tadapani .

Day 6: Tadapani to Sinuwa (2310m)

Stop At: Sinuwa, Ghandruk 33700, Nepal
Dropping down from Tadapani Gurjung the route offers good views of the upper Modi valley. The path then starts the long ascent high above the west bank of the Modi Khola. We pass the village of Chhomrong which lies tucked at the very base of Himal Chuli. From Chhomrong the trail descends until Chhomrong Khola then trail begins a slow climb as we head up to our destination for the day - Sinuwa. 5:00 hours. Overnight.

Day 7: Sinuwa to Deurali (3150m)

Stop At: Deurali 33700, Nepal
We proceed to Kuldi Ghar about 2 ½ to 3 hrs walking. There is a clearing in the forest a little further on, from there the route goes very steeply down a bank of rock and then levels out, running through thickets of bamboo at the bottom of the gorge, keeping always on the west side of the river. We pass by the pasture of Tomo, and then the very neck of the gorge at pantheon Barah, where there is a small trail and a shrine. The track climbs to Himalaya hotel at the campsite where we will overnight. 5 hours.

Day 8: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4090m)

Stop At: Annapurna Sanctuary, Ghandruk 33700, Nepal
Today we climb on past the Machhapuchhare Base Camp (which isn't really a base camp since climbing the mountain is not permitted) to the Annapurna Base Camp. This area is called the Annapurna Sanctuary since it is totally surrounded by mountains. From here it is a two-hour trek to Annapurna Base camp, which offers spectacular views. 5 hours. Overnight

Day 9: Annapurna Base Camp –Dovan (2630 m)

Stop At: Dovan 33800, Nepal
Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Dovan (2630m.) which takes about five hours. It's much easier going down. You should have no problem reaching Sinuwa in a single day from Annapurna Base Camp. Now you trek through Himalayan Hotel to Dovan.

Day 10: Dovan – Jhinu Danda (1740m)

Stop At: Jhinu Danda, Ghandruk 33700, Nepal
Trek from Dovan to Jhinu danda and it takes about 5 hours.The path is descent up to Bamboo passing through forests with varieties of rhododendron, oaks and bamboo plants. After Bamboo, the trail goes steeply up to the Kuldi Ghar and now the trail is quite flat until you reach Sinuwa. You trek gradually descend to the Chhomrong Khola and you have to follow stone staircase for almost an hour to reach Jhinu which place had natural hot spring too..

Day 11: Jhinu – to Nyapool & Drive to Pokhara

Stop At: Pokhara, Pokhara, Gandaki Zone, Western Region
Trek from Chhomrong to Nayapul via Birethanti which takes abour 4 hours.You begin your trail following gentle flat path passing through forests, rocks and terraces. After Kimche (1638m.) the trail descends through human settlements and terraces upto Seuli Bazaar. From here, the trail moves along the bank of Modi Khola to Birethanti. En route, you pass through forests, rice terraces, waterfalls and green scenarios. Birethanti is a small town with few lodges, shops and human settlements. Now you walk for almost twenty minutes through flat path upto Nayapul (New Bridge). From Nayapul you will take 1 & half hr drive to Pokhara

Day 12: Drive back to Kathmandu.

Stop At: Kathmandu, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
After breakfast drive to Kathmandu .While driving to Kathmandu, you head up to Damauli,, , Muglin and Kurintar where the Nepal's first Cable car is operated to reach to Manakamana Temple. En route, you could enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetable fields and people being engaged in their daily life activities. From Naubishe you climb up to Thankot, the gateway to capital city. You are then directly taken to the hotel.

In the evening we will take you to a fare well dinner with ethnic dances and food.

Day 13: Final Departure.

  • IMPORTANT NOTE:Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary, but as this is adventure travel in a remote mountain region, we cannot guarantee it! Weather conditions and the health of trekkers can all contribute to changes. The guides and their Sherpa assistants will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if necessary.
  • Experience Required :This Trek is suitable for keen walkers who are able to walk for 6 – 7 hours in a day, with a light rucksack. Some of the days are quite long, and the walking feels more strenuous at altitude. Generally the trail is a good track, but occasionally it will be uneven and rocky.
  • Food & Accommodation : You are accommodated in teahouses whilst on trek. A teahouse is a local run guesthouse, but standards vary enormously. In popular areas such as Everest, teahouses are more like hotels, with hot water, Western food and private rooms
  • Recommended equipment list :Trekkers need to provide their own personal clothing and equipment. Some items of equipment are available for hire from us as like Sleeping bag and Down Jacket
  • Footwear : Well broken-in walking shoes - these must be suitable for snow, thick socks, light socks, camp shoes.
  • Clothing : Down or fiber filled waterproof jacket and trousers, sweater or fleece jacket, underwear, warm and cotton trousers or jeans, shirts and T-shirts, shorts, long underwear, wool hat, sun hat, gloves, bathing suit, track suit.
