About this activity
Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu airport, our representatives welcome and transfer towards hotel. After finishing check in process, we introduce your guide and other staff. Guide will give short brief about program and what to do or what not to do in trekking area.
Day 02: Flight to Lukla, Trek to Phakding ( 2610m - 4hrs).
At early morning, your guide will pick up from hotel and transfer to airport for taking flight Lukla. After reaching Lukla , we start our short trek towards Phakding around 4 hours.
Day 03:Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m - 6hrs).
we trek towards Phakding. We walk through Dudhkoshi River, where we can see many times exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. There are snow peaks Kusum Kanguru (6369m) and Thamserku (6623m). The trail continues upstream on generally flat terrain, crossing back to the right bank, to the confluence of the Bhote Koshi and Dudh Koshi River.
Day 04:Acclimatization day at Namche Bazar.
The village also boasts three small museums, a stupa, monastery, several cafes (locally known as bakeries) and many well stocked stores.
Day 05:Trek to Tengboche (3860m - 5hrs) .
n the way, we can see beautiful himalayan and village. After walking some hour, we can see view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse and other himalayan. We walk through rhododendron forest.
Day 06:Trek to Dingboche ( 4410 m - 5 hrs).
we move towards Dingboche. We cross Somare, Imja river and mani stones.
Day 07:Acclimatization day at Dingboche.
we will move hike for acclimatization towards Nangkartseng hill on the side of Dingboche village.
Day 08:Trek to Lobuche (4940 m - 5 hrs).
Trek starts descent path to Pheriche village. Today, we can see view of the Tawoche, Ama Dablam and to the north Pokalde (5741m), Kongma-tse(5820m)and Nuptse.
Day 09:Trek to Gorakhshep(5164m) and day excursion of Everest Base camp(5364 m).
We move towards Gorakhshep. On the way, we can see different himalayan with snow peak. After 2-3 hrs walking, we reach Gorakhshep, take lunch and hike towards Everest Base Camp.
Day 10:Early morning hike to Kalapatthar and back to Pheriche.
we start our hiking towards Kalapatthar. The meaning of Kalapatthar is Black stone and from here we can see nice view of Mt. Everest , Nuptse and Changtse.
Day 11:Trek to Namche Bazar.
we start trekking towards Namche Bazar with taking with beautiful memory of Everest or Khumbu region and ethnic culture.
Day 12:Trek to Lukla (7 hrs) and overnight.
Day 13:Lukla fly to Kathmandu, End of the trek. Dinner with cultural programme.
Day 14:Departure.
