Brief Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu (1300m/4264ft)

Day 2: Fly to Lukla from Kathmandu and trek to Phakding (2651m/8700ft) 8km, 3 hrs trek

Day 3: Phakding to Namche (3440m/11280ft) 11km, 6-7 hrs

Day 4: Namche Acclimatization day or exploration day

Day 5: Namche to Tengboche (3870m/12694ft) 10km, 5-6 hrs

Day 6: Tengboche to Dingboche (4360m/14300ft) 9km, 5-6 hrs

Day 7: Dingboche to Chhukung (4750m/15,580 ft), 3 – 4 hours

Day 8: Chhukung: Climb Chhukung Ri (5,546m) and trek back to Chhukung, 3 – 4 hours

Day 9: Cross to Kongma La pass (5535m/18,159ft), trek to Lobuche (4940m/16,210ft), 6 – 7 hours

Day 10: Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5170 m/16,961ft), visit Everest Base Camp (5364 m/17,594 ft), 6-7 hours

Day 11: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5545 m/18,192 ft), then to Lobuche (4940 m/16,207 ft), 8 – 9 hours

Day 12: Lobuche to Dzongla (4830m/15,850 ft),3 – 4 hours

Day 13: Trek to Gokyo (4800m/15,580 ft) via Cho La pass (5368m/17,611 ft), 7 – 8 hours

Day 14: Rest day in Gokyo: Climb Gokyo Ri (5357m/17,575 ft), tour 4th and 5th Gokyo lakes, 3 – 4 hours

Day 15: Gokyo to Marlung (4210m/13,810 ft) via Renjo La Pass (5360m/17585 ft), 7 – 8 hours

Day 16: Marlung to Namche Bazaar, 5 – 6 hours

Day 17: Trek down to Lukla

Day 18: Flight back to Kathmandu

  • Day 01 Kathmandu Arrival
  • Peregrine Treks representatives will receive you at the airport and transfer to hotel. The tour plan will be discussed and handed over to you.
  • Day 02 Kathmandu To Lukla By Flight And Trek To Phakding
  • Early Morning flight will take you to Lukla Tenzing-Hillary Airport. The mountain flight journey would be a mesmerizing memory in itself. The close view of mountain range and hills of Khumbu region, as well as the rural Nepal, can be savoured from the flight. Once landed in Lukla the trekking starts after meeting the rest of the support crew. The day’s trekking would be up to the Phakding.
  • Day 03 Trek To Namche
  • Phakding to Namche is relatively easy trekking time spanning just up to 3 hrs. The trail comprises of a suspension bridge with colourful prayer flags in it. The views of Mountains start to welcome you towards its lap. The highlight of this part of the trail would be the Tibetan wall paintings and the occasional views of Mountains.
  • Day 04 Acclimatization Day In Namche
  • Early morning breakfast at the hotel and to Everest view Hotel. Everest Base Camp trekking requires strength and endurance as well as will power. The day’s rest will be taken in Namche in order to get prepared for the trek upwards. The acclimatization hiking will take place as you will be taken to world’s highest located hotel The Everest View Hotel after Breakfast. The panoramic views of mountains and the surrounding area from the hotel are splendid. It is highly recommended for the trekkers to go through the acclimatization hiking as it prepares your body and soul for the trekking.
  • Day 05 Trek To Tengboche
  • The trekking trail from Namche to Tengboche consists of plain flat land trekking as well as steep uphill. The flat trail trekking provides the outstanding views of Mountains like Thamserku, Everest, Pumori, Lhotse and other Himalayan ranges. The trail on the banks of Dudhkoshi River and the rhododendron forests amazes you. The distant scenes of the majestic Himalayas would also mesmerize you and let you forget the hardship encountered till day. Once you have reached Tengboche the serenity prevails. The continuous prayers and smell of incense coming from the monastery would ignite your spiritual self.
  • Day 06 Trek To Dingboche
  • The trekking trail is slight downhill and enters the small valley passing by Pangboche. The usual crossing of the river from suspension bridge and wooden bridges are there with the usual view of mountains up above you.
  • Day 07 Dingboche To Chhukung (4750m/15,580 Ft): 3 - 4 Hours
  • Trekkers would like the views of Tawache, Amadablam, Chalotse and Nuptse-Lhotse. The trekking would then move towards Chhukung passing by stone walled fields and entering the glacier amidst the gigantic Himalayas and yak herders. Chukung is surrounded by the Himalayas and glaciers. The elongated hiking to the rocky place of Chhukung Ri also from Chhukung if time permits.
  • Day 08 Chhukung: Climb Chhukung Ri (5,546m) And Trek Back To Chhukung: 3 – 4 Hours
  • The climbing of the Chhukung Ri would take place and it is better advised to cross Kong Ma La pass only after the visit of the Chhukung village and acclimatization via short hiking or roaming around Chhukung Valley.
  • Day 09 Cross To Kongma La Pass (5535m/18,159ft), Trek To Lobuche (4940m/16,210ft): 6 - 7 Hours
  • The trekking from Chhukung to Kong Ma La would be the legendary experience for you further to reach Lobuche. The time frame would be around 6-7 hours and you will be walking in the highest part of the trip i.e. Kong Ma La Pass. Once you have crossed the Moraine then the Lobuche can be reached.
  • Day 10 Lobuche To Gorak Shep (5170 M/16,961ft), Visit Everest Base Camp (5364 M/17,594 Ft): 6-7 Hours
  • The lateral moraine of the Khumbu region glacier provides the crest of the northern ridge of Everest. Our trail moves along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. The trail offers the stunning view of mountains as well.
  • Day 11 Gorak Shep To Kala Patthar (5545 M/18,192 Ft), Then To Lobuche (4940 M/16,207 Ft): 8 - 9 Hours
  • The early morning hike to the sunrise destination of Kalapther then following We start our trek to Kala Patthar early in the morning in order to catch remarkable views of the first light of the sun shining on Mt. Everest but you have to get prepared from the altitude and passion for the trekking
  • Day 12 Lobuche To Dzongla (4830m/15,850 Ft): 3 - 4 Hours
  • Lobuche to Dzongala trail creates you an enchanting experience of the Himalayan alpine environment. The downhill trekking on a route alongside Khumbu Glacier from Lobuche to Dzongla passes by Chola La Lake. The view of Awi Peak is mesmerizing and awesome.
  • Day 13 Trek To Gokyo (4800m/15,580 Ft) Via Cho La Pass (5368m/17,611 Ft): 7 - 8 Hours
  • As the trekking gain height, the Cho La Pass starts to be seen and the Ama Dablam looms on the south and Cholatse in the west. The climbing of the Chola can be very tricky around the crevasses. The summit of the pass is actually marked by flags. The scenery, however, is magnificent and breathtaking. The trail finally comes to Ngozumpa glacier the longest glacier among six lakes series.
  • Day 14 Rest Day In Gokyo: Climb Gokyo Ri (5357m/17,575 Ft), Tour 4th And 5th Gokyo Lakes: 3 - 4 Hours
  • The climbing of the Gokyo Ri takes place towards the enchanting views of the mountains. The tour of the fourth lake could also be done in this day. The view from famous Scoundrel Viewpoint near to the fifth lake provides the astonishing views of the mountains.
  • Day 15 Gokyo To Marlung (4210m/13,810 Ft) Via Renjo La Pass (5360m/17585 Ft): 7 - 8 Hours
  • Trekkers will start the day early morning for the long trekking ahead. The trail moves along the Dudh Pokhari for a small period of time. The trail showcases the astounding scenery of the Rolwaling ranges and other Himalayan ranges. The walking would be very rocky and winds down over a loose screen to be in the south of Tsho lake. The trekking from Marlung on the east bank of the Bhote Koshi river would be the mesmerizing, strenuous and adventurous.
  • Day 16 Marlung To Namche Bazaar: 5 - 6 Hours
  • The trekking descends from Marlung to Thame following the traditional trail used by Tibetan traders. The trekkers then cross the Bhote Koshi River and descend further to Taranga. Thame on a hillside will be gone gradually and pass by small Sherpa villages the voyage reaches the Namche Bazaar.
  • Day 17 Trek Down To Lukla
  • This day you will descend to Lukla for return back to Kathmandu.
  • Day 18 Flight Back To Kathmandu And Sightseeing
  • After 30 minutes flight from Lukla.
  • Day 19 Departure
  • Fly back to your country after amazing Everest Three high passes trek: Private vehicle will take you to airport for departure
