Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to 5 Star Hotel

Stop At: Hyatt Regency Kathmandu, Taragaon, Kathmandu 44601, Nepal
Alpine Mountain Trek Advisor welcomes you to Nepal. One of our company representatives will be awaiting your arrival outside the arrival area of the Tribhuvan International Airport. This person will greet you and transfer you to the 5 Star Hotel in Kathmandu in, an air conditioned car. After checking into the hotel, you can take a quick nap or a refreshing bath to freshen up. In the afternoon, you will be driven to our office in Kathmandu. A short meeting will be conducted in the office for the briefing regarding the trek. At the same meeting, you will also be introduced to your guide and Sherpas. After the meeting we will drive you to one of the finest Nepali restaurant, where you can enjoy typical Nepali food, cultural dance and music. After the dinner, you will be driven back to Your Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Fly to Lukla by regular plane and trek to Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft) (30-35 min flight and 4 hour walk)

Stop At: Yeti Mountain Home Phakding, Lukla, Chaunrikharka 56000, Nepal
Today, early in the morning, in an air-conditioned car, we will drive you to the domestic terminal of the Tribhuvan International Airport, where we will board a flight to Lukla. It’s a 30-35 min of a very scenic flight , where you will get a chance to feed your eyes on a very beautiful terrain. Then you will be landing on one of the most dangerous airports in the world- the Tenzing Hillary Airport. At the airport, you will be introduced to the porters and other team member, who will assist you during the trek. Breakfast will be served, while the luggage is prepared for the porters. Soon, the trekking continues downhill towards Phakding. Its about 4 hours walk, on a friendly trail made more friendlier by small Sherpa settlements, prayer flags, and mani stones carved and painted with Buddhist inscriptions. Once we reach Phakding , we check into the most luxurious Khumbu hotel, the Yeti Mountain Home for overnight stay. Lunch and dinner will be served in the same hotel. If you are not tired, the nearby Rimijung Monastery, Choeling Monastery, Tye Kongma Monastery and Gomlha nunnery are some good options to visit, while in Phakding. If you choose to spend the rest of the time in the hotel itself, the hotel offers well stocked bar, a greenhouse, a leisure room and a small in-house library to spend a quality time. Additionally, in the hotel you can also enjoy five star cuisine and luxury accommodation.

Day 3: to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft) (5-6 hour walk)

Stop At: Main Street, Namche Bazaar 56002 Nepal
Having bountiful breakfast at the hotel (Yeti Mountain Home), we leave Phakding and head towards Namche Bazaar, a horseshoe-shaped village in the Khumbu region, which requires crossing a number of suspension bridges and up and down hill walk. Crossing the first bridge, an easy uphill walk past the villages like Zapute, Toktok, Benkar and Chumoa will first take us to Monjo- a gateway to the Sagarmatha National Park. After some formalities at the entrance, we now enter the very famous Sagarmatha National Park. The trail leading downwards from Monjo will make us cross two more suspension bridges, before climbing the final hill that will take us to Namche Bazaar. At this point, you can also enjoy the very first view of the alluring Mt. Everest. At Namche Bazaar, we again check into the next branch of Yeti Mountain Home, where you can enjoy all the facilities provided by the Yeti Mountain Home in Phakding. Additionally, you can also enjoy free Wi-Fi as well as the massage and well-being treatments in the hotel itself. Both the dinner served and accommodation provided in the hotel is of top quality. The night will be spent in the Yeti Mountain Home, Namche.

Day 4: Morning Helicopter airlift to Everest Base Camp, return to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft);

Stop At: Everest Base Camp, Khumjung 56000, Nepal
Early in the morning after breakfast, airlift by Helicopter toward Everest Base Camp (5,364m17,600ft) showcasing closet view of Everest Himalayan Ranges, Khumbu Glacier , magical view of Mount Everest from Kala Pathar (5,545m/18,192ft). There is even 1 time land either Everest Base Camp or Kala Pathar which gives a lifetime memory. Return to Lukla and commercial flight to Kathmandu.

Day 5: Departure day

Stop At: Tribhuvan International Airport, Ring Rd, काठमाडौँ 44600, Nepal
Today is a farewell day. So, as per your flight schedule, we will transfer you to the Tribhuan International Airport in Kathmandu, in a very comfortable air conditioned car to help your board a flight back home. Have a safe flight ahead.
