Trek Overview

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu airport

 Day 2: Kathmandu

Day 03 : Early in the morning drive by bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul through to the Birethanti village trek to Tikhedhunga 4hr .

Day 05: Hiking up to Ghorepani though by Rhododendron Forest 4 hr (2860m).

Day 06: Early in the morning Hiking up to Poonhill (3210m)to see sunrise view of the Annapurna & Dhaulagiri , Machhapuchhre. Back to hotel and trek to Tadapani 4hr (2100m).

Day 07: Trek to Tadapani to Ghundruk ( 4 Hr 1920m)

Day 08: Trek to Ghundruk to Nayapul ( 4 hr )

Day 09: Pokhara to Chitwan (160 Kms /4 Hrs).

Day 10: Chitwan Jungle Safari Activities

Day 11: Chitwan to Kathmandu ( 146 Kms/5 Hrs. )

  • Day 01 : Kathmandu Arrival
  • After your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport , One of the representative from Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure will be waiting you outside the international airport terminal gate holding your name and transfer to the hotel.
  • .Day 02 : Kathmandu Valley world heritage site sightseeing
  • :After breakfast in the morning you will be Proceed on to Swayambhunath Stupa , Pasupatinath Temple ,Boudhanath Stupa and Patan Darbar Square
  • Day 03 : Drive to Pokhara
  • We will drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu by Tourist bus . On the way, we will pass along with terrace villages, farms, as well as cities with eye-catching views of snow-capped peaks. Pokhara hold three attention-grabbing lakes in its region- Phewa, Rupa and Begnas. At Pokhara, we can also enjoy from sightseeing at well-liked tourist areas like Davi’s fall, Gupteshore cave, renowned Fewa Lake where you can enjoy boating and visit Tal barahi temple lying in the heart of the lake or sail to the next shore of the lake and hike to peace Stupa etc. Overnight in a hotel.After breakfast, we will drive to Nayapul from Pokhara and carry on trekking down the hill following a river to Birethanti set at the altitude of 1,025m at the shore of Modi River. Following the river we will climb to Syali bazaar and after that we will walk on a steady twisting path next to the river Modi.
  • Day 04 : Pokhara to Tikhedunga:
  • One hour drive to Nayapul and 3 to 4 hour trek to tikhedhunga.
  • Day 05 : Trek to Ghorepani
  • Today, we move on from Tikhedhunga towards the steep climb to Ulleri (2070). You can intersperse into the large Magar settlements at Ulleri. From Ulleri, we ascend more gently through the fine forests of rhododendrons and oaks. After walking for a couple of hours from Banthanti, we eventually reach at Ghorepani where we stay overnight at a guesthouse.
  • Day 06 : Hike up to Poon Hill (3210m) and trek to Tadapani (2610m) – 5 Hours
  • We have to wake up early in the morning today as we’ve to hike up to Poon Hill, probably the best viewpoint in the Annapurna Region. Here at Poon Hill, we catch the panorama of the beautiful peaks including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Often been touted as the Photographer’s Paradise, don’t miss out to take some of the best snaps of this entire trip from Poon Hill during sunrise. That being said, sunset views from this hill top are equally rewarding the phenomenal. Spend few to at Poon Hill and then return back to Ghorepani. After having breakfast at Ghorepani, we again continue out walk towards Tadapani. Ascending towards Deurali, and descending again, we eventually reach at Tadapani, where we stay overnight at a local guesthouse.
  • Day 07: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940m) – 5 Hours
  • From Tadapani, we descend through the forests while following the trail to Ghandruk—aka the biggest Gurung Settlement in the country. Take your time to explore the typical culture and lifestyle of ethnic Gurung people and interact with local people. Ghandruk also offers some of the magnificent views of mountains. Stay overnight at a local guesthouse.

  • Day 08: Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul (1010m), then drive to Pokhara – 5 Hours
  • As today is going to be the final day for trekking, we slowly follow our trail back to Nayapul from Ghandruk. Once we reach at Nayapul, we can take a short drive back to Pokhara. Check-in to the hotel and stay overnight.
  • Day 09 : Drive to Chitwan
  • After breakfast, drive through scenic mountain highway to Chitwan (187kms/5-6 hrs). Chitwan National Park is proud to be called Asia’s one of the best managed parks and is home to over 50 species of mammals, 55 species of amphibians and reptiles and 525 species of birds. Wildlife that thrive here include; the great one-horned Asian Rhinoceros, Gaur, wild Bison, sloth Bear, four different species of Deer, the Rhesus Monkey and the black-faced Langur, the spotted Leopard, the fish-eating Gharial, the flesh-eating marsh Crocodile and the Gangetic Dolphin among many others. It is also one of the last refuges of the Royal Bengal tiger. The birdlife too is very rich and varied and a delight for Ornithologists. Transfer to the resort in Chitwan. Lunch at your resort Afternoon, commence on an elephant back safari to explore the jungle and the various wildlife: the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, Himalayan sloth bear, spotted leopard and, if lucky, the elusive nocturnal Royal Bengal tiger too. This exciting ride lasts for 2-3 hours.
  • Day 10 : Wildlife Activities
  • we will visit the National Park where you can see the record of about plants and animals in Chitwan National Park. We can also see sunset views relaxing on the bank of Rapti River. In addition, you will also witness Tharu cultural dance performed by the local villagers. jungle activities such as jungle/nature walk, dugout canoe ride Jungle walk tour allows you to explore different habitat, from the flood-plain grassland to the dense Sal forests, where you get the opportunity of good animal sights at your own pace. Since it is disturbs the animals less while walking through the forest, it is usually a better chance for discovering wildlife. During the walk, you will also get a chance to see the different kind of plants and herbs in the National park. The naturalists can give thorough descriptions of the wildlife and herbs there.
  • Day 11 : Drive to Kathmandu
  • we will return back to Kathmandu. It takes around 5 hours to reach Kathmandu.
  • Day 12 : Departure Day
  • Our staff will drive you to the International Airport to bid farewell.
