The best place to witness many hindu rituals including cremation. This temple complex is the biggest in south asia and one can see more than 300 temples in this area.

The tallest stupa of the world Boudhanath is more than 2000 years old and is centre of attraction of Buddhist and hindu people along with thousands of tourists. You can enjoy shopping and a mouth watering lunch in a rooftop restaurant here

Also called Lalitpur (city of fine arts), Patan city has a lot for you. The beautiful courtyard with the palace also called durbar square has palaces with mind blowing woodcarving and a lot of temples of hindu dieties in the courtyard. A visit to the museum and gallery is not only a memorable experience but you can gain lots of information.. You can easily spend couple of days in this city exploring the temples hidden on the alleyways and monasteries which dates back to the 4th century.

Swoyambhunath stupa is a beautiful stupa situated in the top of a small hill in the western part of kathmandu. Considered older than the Kathmandu city Swoyambhu is a place where both hindu and buddhist flock around to worship their diety

Stop At: Nagarkot, Nagarkot, Bagmati Zone, Central Region

Situated 35 km away from kathmandu, Nagarkot is a favorite place both for foreigner and local. You can enjoy a lovely walk on the beautiful countryside along the forest. A wonderful sunrise among the himalayas is major attraction on this place. You can enjoy short(or long) hike in the village or other activities like horse riding or paraglide.
