Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu arrival. (1,300m)

Stop At: Thamel, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
Langtang Ri Trekking & Expedition representative will greet you in an airport & transfer you to your Hotel, after refreshment you will be picked from the hotel lobby to the office where you will be formally introduced to your Guide and the activities to be enjoyed over the next few days. We will also ask for your passport photographs and any other details required for your trek permits, at this stage.

Accommodation included: Twin /Double sharing accommodation at Kathmandu in 2 to3 star hotel with breakfast

Day 2: Drive to Kathmandu to Syabrubesi to Gatlang. (2,238m)

Pass By: Dhunche Heliport, Dhunche 45000, Nepal
Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi to Ghatlang which takes about eight hours. You head north out of Kathmandu driving through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Syabru Besi passing through Dhunche. While passing along the road at the bank of Trishuli river you catch a glimpse of Ganesh Himal, terraces and green hills. As you pass through Dhunche you feel as if you are heading towards deep land. At the same time, you notice that the road is still under construction. You can see the scenery from the viewpoint. The cultural show at Goljung and Gatlang makes your trekking a memorable one. Gatlang set high on a hillside among terraced fields is a Tamang settlement. One can visit a Tamang monastery and beautiful Parvatikunda Lake at Gatlang.

Day 3: Gatlang to Tatopani via Chilime. (2,607m)

Stop At: Tatopani Hot Spring, Tatopani 33200 Nepal
Trek to Ghatlang to tatopani which is 6 hours of trek. Our walk begins by descending to Thangbuchet (near Chilime village) by the Bhotekoshi River. Chilime Hydropower dam is situated here. After Chilime, we start to ascend first by crossing a small hanging bridge and continue until we reach our campsite. In route, we have excellent views of the Langtang Range and Ganesh Himal. Tatopani also renown as a place of a natural hot water dam, where one can cleanse in the natural hot springs. Locals believe that the waters have a healing quality that eases away your aches and pains.

Day 4: Tatopani to Thuman Via Nagthali (2,338m)

Pass By: Nagthali All Pick View Guest House, Nagthali 45000, Nepal
This morning we ascend to Nagthali, which was once used as a popular meditation center for the local monks and priests. Nagthali Danda (3300m), the highest pass of the area, lies in a high open grassland and offers panoramic views of snow-covered Langtang Lirung, Kerung, Ganesh Himal and Sanjen Ranges. We descend down to Thuman, a heavily Tibetan influenced Tamang village. If we are lucky, we might come across large troops of Nepal Gray Langur Monkeys. The ancient monasteries and houses adorned with rich wood engravings here are an unforgettable experience. This trek will take 5 hours.

Day 5: Thuman to Timure & excursion in Tibetan Borderlands. (1,762m)

Pass By: Rasuwa Ghadhi, 45000, Nepal
We begin with an easy flat trail that descends to Timure en route to the old trade route to Tibet. After lunch and making camp at Timure, we head towards Rasuwa Gadhi, a historical reminder of the Nepal-Tibet relations that have existed for many centuries. A suspension bridge here links Nepal and Tibet. We are not permitted to camp at Rasuwa Gadhi, as it lies on the border and security is extremely tight.

Day 6: Timure to Khanjim Via Briddim (2,280m)

Stop At: Kyanjin Gompa, Langtang National Park 44600 Nepal
Passing through rhododendron forests and meadows we head towards Briddim, another Tibetan influenced Tamang village located in the bosom of the Langtang Himal. Around 43 houses are spread in Z shape. Most of the houses are made up of stone and have roofs of split shake. Here we may meet other trekkers on the Langtang trail.
Duration: 8 hours

Day 7: Khanjim to Thulo Syabru (2,210m)

Pass By: Langtang Valley, Langtang National Park Nepal
After the sunshine, we are heading to our next destination called Thulo Syabru. Thulo Syabru from the east is a small valley, it is a steep climb through forests of oak, fir, and rhododendron to the top of a ridge.

Day 8: Trek from Thulo Syabru to Cholangpati (3,654m)

Pass By: Chandanbari, Sing Gompa 45000, Nepal
After an hour walk, we reach to Sing Gompa which is a small village famous for Yak Cheese. We can get a cheese factory over here as well as a Buddhist monastery. Crossing the Sing Gompa we reach to our another destination after the walk for 5 long hours crossing villages and pasturelands called Cholangpati.

Day 9: Trek from Cholangpati to Gosaikunda and back to Singompa (4,380m)

Stop At: Gosainkunda, Rasuwa District, Langtang National Park Nepal
Observe the early morning sunrise view. We can see Langtang Lirung and Langtang on the south side from Cholang Pati we also can see the superb view of Ganesh Himal Ranges. After morning breakfast trek start to Gosainkunda which face the Lauribina at first. In Lauribina we can find some hotels/restaurants for a tea break. The trail is still steep up until Gosainkund pass, then starts flat. After three hours of trek, we reach to Gosainkund. When we cross the Gosanikund pass the first lake named Saraswati Kund, second is Parvati Kund, third is Bhairab Kund and fourth is Gosain Kund, which is bigger than others. After then we back to Sing Gompa.

Day 10: Trek from Singompa to Dhunche and Drive back to Kathmandu (1,060m)

Stop At: Thamel, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
With the beautiful view of mountains and with greenery we back to Dhunche from Singompa. It is a pleasant drive back to Kathmandu with splendid views of hills, mountains, terraces, and villages. You drive along the unpaved road till Betrawati and you begin to follow the narrow well-paved road.
Duration: 3 hours

• Dinner: You would be served farewell dinner at the restaurants for the successful trek you have done.
