Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Sybrubensi (1,550m): 7-8 hours

Pass By: Thamel, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
We leave Kathmandu early in the morning as we drive to Sybrubensi, the gateway to Langtang. We enjoy a peaceful but sometimes bumpy drive amid the hills and alongside the Trishuli River. After a scenic drive past several countryside settlements, we arrive in Sybrubensi. If the weather is clear, the peaks of Manaslu (8156m), Annapurna (8091m), and Ganesh Himal (7422m) can be seen from here. Overnight at guest house.

We leave Kathmandu early in the morning as we drive to Sybrubensi, the gateway to Langtang. We enjoy a peaceful but sometimes bumpy drive amid the hills and alongside the Trishuli River. After a scenic drive past several countryside settlements, we arrive in Sybrubensi. If the weather is clear, the peaks of Manaslu (8156m), Annapurna (8091m), and Ganesh Himal (7422m) can be seen from here. Overnight at guest house.

Day 2: Trek from Sybrubensi to Lama Hotel (2,380m): 6 hours

Pass By: Langtang Valley, Langtang National Park Nepal
After breakfast, we slowly ascend to a higher altitude alongside the Langtang River. As we walk through oak and rhododendron forests, we are able to visit small Tamang villages, which are adorned with stones houses, constructed impeccably, and also get a breathtaking view of the mountains. Since the trail lies inside the Langtang National Park, we might catch a glimpse of the rare red panda, if we're lucky. We might also encounter other animals and birds along the way. Overnight at Lama Hotel.



Stop At: Lama Hotel, Langtang 45000, Nepal
After breakfast, we slowly ascend to a higher altitude alongside the Langtang River. Day 3: Trek to Mundu (3543m) via Langtang village: 6-7 hours

Stop At: Langtang Valley, Langtang National Park Nepal
We continue to walk up through the rocky terrain with plenty of waterfalls along the way. We follow the Langtang River uphill as we walk past through the wide yak pastureland of Ghoda Tabela. With an enticing view of the Langtang range, we walk past few villages and monasteries to arrive in the Tamang village of Langtang. For better accommodation, we cross a Mani wall and walk a little further to the village of Mundu. Overnight at guesthouse

Day 4: Mundu to Kyangin Gompa (3,870m): 4-5 hours

Stop At: Kyanjin Gompa, Langtang National Park 44600 Nepal
We leave Mundu behind to arrive one of the most important landmarks of the trek. We walk past a few villages, water mills, and Chortens to arrive in Kyanjin Gompa. Kyangin Gompa is a monastery of great significance to the inhabitants of this region. Along the way, we will see many prayer flags and wheels, and small prayer houses that people have built. The Buddhist culture can be felt so deeply here. Overnight at guest house.

Day 5: Acclimatization- Explore Tserko Ri (5000m) 7-8 hours

Stop At: Tsergo Ri, Langtang 45000, Nepal
Today we hike up to Tserko Ri, the highest altitude of our trek, by making our way through various pastures with Yaks. The sunrise atop the Tserko Ri is spectacular and a sight worth the climb as we get a breathtaking view of the Langtang range. After spending some time there, we hike back to Kyanjin and explore the village. We can visit the local yak cheese factory and taste the cheese, or buy it. Overnight at guest house.

Stop At: Langtang Valley, Langtang National Park Nepal
Today we hike up to Tserko Ri, the highest altitude of our trek, by making our way through various pastures with Yaks. After breakfast, we trek down along familiar landscapes to Lama Hotel. One can see that all the homes in the Tamang villages are made out of stones and all are facing east, towards the rising sun. This makes for a stunning view of the village nestled in the heart of the Himalayas. Overnight at Lama Hotel.

Day 7: Lama Hotel to Sybrubensi: 4-5 hours

Pass By: Hotel Garden Inn, Syapru Besi 45000, Nepal
From Lama Hotel, we make our way to Sybrubensi which is also the last day of trekking for us. We retrace our steps walking amid the lush rhododendron forest while being accompanied by Langtang River. Overnight at guest house.

Day 8: Sybrubensi to Kathmandu

Pass By: Thamel, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
After breakfast, we leave Sybrubensi and drive back to Kathmandu following the same route as we did before. We once again get to enjoy the countryside view throughout the drive. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, you will be dropped to your hotel. Overnight at guest house.
