About this activity
DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU
Enjoy the panoramic view of the snowcapped Himalayan peaks while landing at Tribhuban International Airport at Kathmandu. After finishing the immigration formalities you will be met, welcomed and transferred by our airport representative and driver to your hotel. After refreshing yourself we will be welcoming you by a Nepalese typical dinner with authentic Nepalese cultural show. Overnight in Kathmandu. Dinner Included.
DAY 02: DRIVE TO POKHARA
After an early breakfast at the hotel, we take a private transportations following the Prithivi Highway along Trishuli and Marshyangdi rivers to the beautiful lake city of Pokhara. Check into hotel and refresh yourself. After lunch at one of the restaurants' at the side of the Fewa Lake, we will drive to Peace Pagoda at a hill top overlooking Fewa Lake and entire city of Pokhara with the Himalayan Peaks on the back drop. Evenings are beautiful from the Peace Stupa. Overnight in Pokhara. Breakfast Included.
DAY 03: DRIVE TO KANDE AND TREK TO PITAM DEURALI (2050 Meters/4-5 Hours)
After early breakfast at the hotel, drive for an hour through the winding road to Kande. Start your adventurous trekking through the terraced fields, pleasant villages and the forest. The stone paved trail will reach Dhampus where we will have lunch. Continue to follow the trail to Pitam Deurali, a small beautiful village over the ridge. The setting sun over Annapurna South, Mardi Himal and Machhapuchhare Himal is beautiful. Overnight in Pitam Deurali. Breakfast Included.
DAY 04: TREK TO FOREST CAMP (2520 METERS)(6-7 HOURS)
After breakfast we follow the trail through the lush green forest of rhododendron, the national flower. From half of the way, the trail drops steeply down and then slowly gains height and back into the ridge and its opening into the forest camp. Overnight at Forest Camp. Breakfast Included
DAY 05: TREK TO LOW CAMP (2970 METERS)(3-4 HOURS)
After breakfast we continue to follow the trail through the thick rhododendron forest. The trail climbs steeply at first and gradual climb later. The nature of the vegetation also changes gradually as we gain the altitude reflecting the rich biodiversity of Nepal. The view of Machhapuchhre Peak is superb from Low Camp. Overnight in Low Camp. Breakfast Included.
DAY 06: TREK TO HIGH CAMP
DAY 07: HIMALAYAN VISTA FROM VIEW POINT AND EXPLORE BASE CAMP & BACK TO HIGH CAMP
DAY 08: TREK TO SIDHING VILLAGE
DAY 09: EXPLORE SIDHING VILLAGE AND DRIVE BACK TO POKHARA
DAY 10: FLY BACK TO KATHMANDU
DAY 11: HALF DAY SIGHTSEEING AND AFTERNOON FREE FOR SHOPPING
DAY 12: FINAL DEPARTURE FROM KATHMANDU
