Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (Altitude 1400 m)

Nepal Big Mountain Travel believes in persistence and belongingness. On day 1, arrival day, a representative in formal attire with garlands (Mala) and traditional Buddhist ceremonial scarf (Khata) will welcome you. This is a traditional welcoming gesture of Nepalese. The representative will guide you to the hotel. You can wander around the streets of Thamel and explore shops during the late afternoon. Then, a cultural dinner is presented overnight at 3 – star hotel in Kathmandu or similar class.

Day 2: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu (Altitude 1400 m)

You wake up and have breakfast at 7 A.M in the morning. You can go for sightseeing of other places in Kathmandu. You will first go to Bouddhanath Stupa, which is one of the largest stupas in South Asia. You can see Tibetan monasteries around it and explore stupa built in Buddhist style. The serene place has Mani walls and prayer wheels all over the place. Visit the heritage site enlisted in UNESCO Then, You go to Swoyambhunath, the monkey temple. The temple also joins the Buddhist as well as Hindu culture. You will get the opportunity to see the life cycle of Buddha carved in stones and various sculptures. You can also position yourself to view the beautiful Kathmandu from atop a hill.

Day 3: Drive to Lumbini and do meditation (Altitude 1550 m)

A fresh daylight begins with refreshing breakfast; you then take a ride from Kathmandu to Lumbini. An 8-hour drive will engage you with sights of Malekhu. Here you can stop to enjoy some fish. You will also view possible future destination, Manakamana for religious purposes. The ride will make you wonder the beauty of Nepal as you see changing landscapes from hills to plains. After you reach in the afternoon, you will take some rest to reenergize. At evening, you will lighten up by doing meditation. You then explore by roaming around the birthplace of Buddha at Lumbini, the spiritual place. You will stay overnight in 3 – Star Hotel in Lumbini or similar class.

Day 4: Pray and sightseeing in Lumbini (Altitude 182 m)

Today is an important day when you take a tour around the origination of the Buddha. You will visit the Maya Devi Temple, and the five foot tall Idol of Maya Devi, the birthmother of Gautama Buddha. You can also spot the Ashoka pillar built by the great king Ashoka. The Pushkirini Lake, the Birth Marker Stone, and the numerous huge monasteries are the attractions of the center of peace, Lumbini. Along with it, the Eternal Peace Flame that has been burning forever amazes many people. Thousands of people come to gaze at the monasteries and temples of Lumbini and pray for eternal peace in their lives. You will stay overnight in 3 – Star Hotel in Lumbini or similar class.

First, you go to Asan Street which is the oldest street in Kathmandu. This place welcomes you with the smell of varieties of spices. You get to see a temple of Goddess Annapurna, goddess of abundance. You can offer your prayers and ring the bell of the temple. You also roam around the Thamel area, where you will see beautiful handicrafts and Thankas paintings. You will stay overnight in 3 – Star Hotel in Kathmandu or similar class.
