Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu airport and Pre-trip meeting.

Stop At: Tribhuvan International Airport
We will pick up you from the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: A full day recreational tour of Kathmandu, the capital valley.

Stop At: Swayambhunath Stupa
You can watch over the valley from the top of a hillock on its western side. Swyambhu is also known as Samhengu and the Monkey temple because of the countless monkeys living in the premises.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
Pashupatinath Temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples of Nepal. It is located on the banks of Bagmati River on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu. Pashupatinath is the most important temple dedicated to god Shiva.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
Boudhanath Stupa is 2500 years old Buddhist stupa in the Valley built in the 5th century with four pairs of eyes of Lord Buddha in four cardinal directions keeping an eternal watch over the people and their doings. You will find Buddhist pilgrims from Tibet going round the stupa spinning the prayer wheels.

Stop At: Patan Durbar Square, Patan (Lalitpur), Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
Patan Durbar Square - located in central of city Lalitpur. It displays the Newari architecture that had reached its pinnacle during the reign of Malla kings who were great builders and patrons of the arts.

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara: 200 KM/6-7 hours

Stop At: Hotel Crown Himalayas
After breakfast, leave Kathmandu for Pokhara (known as The Lake City owing to a large number of lakes in the city). As you leave Kathmandu, the landscape changes. You will see hills, small settlements and terraced farms. Upon your arrival in Pokhara, the beautiful lake city, you are rewarded with magnificent views of the Himalayas, including Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Manaslu (8,156m), Machhapuchhre (6,993m), the five peaks of Annapurna and others. Check-in to the hotel and take a rest. You may also stroll in the streets of Pokhara and just enjoy being in one of the most beautiful cities of Nepal.

Day 4: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and Trek to Tikhedunga: 1 Hour drive/3-4 Hours Trek

Stop At: naylor rd train station
After breakfast, drive to Nayapul which takes approximately one hour. Then start the first part of your hiking out to Tikhedunga (1577m.) via Birethanti (1065m.) this is a pretty easy flat hike as you pass through several small lively villages and settlements. After some time, you will ascend gently to the final destination Tlhedhunga.

Day 5: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani: 5-6 Hours trek

Stop At: Hotel Hilltop
After breakfast, ascend steeply for the first 2 hours and then ascend gently passing through Ulleri (2070m.) and Banthanti. This path gives breathtaking views of Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail (6997m.), Hiunchuli (6441m.), and the grand Annapurna (7219m) south on the way. Your trail now gets quite easy going as you pass through rhododendron and shadowy forests amidst the cackling of birds which gives you good feelings till you ascend gently up to the final camp.

Day 6: Hike to Poon Hill (3210 meter/10530 ft) and trek to Tadapani (2675 meter/ 8775 ft): 5-6 hours trek

Stop At: Poon Hill Trekking
In the early morning hike to Poon Hill (3210m.) to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhare (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and other numerous snowcapped mountains then Hike down to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast at the Lodge and trek to Tadapani (2650 m.). Most part of the trail trek through rhododendron forest, the beautiful flower makes the jungle colorful in spring when they bloom.

Day 7: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk: 3-4 Hours trek

Stop At: Old Gurung Museum, Ghandruk, Gandaki Zone, Western Region
After breakfast start your trek. It is easy trekking by descending gently all the way through rhododendron, oak and other kinds of dense forests. You will hear different kinds of birds chirping on the way. This is one of the popular destinations for the bird lovers. Ghandruk is a big Gurung village. There is a handicraft center and Gurung Museum. From this village you will see the views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna (7455m.), Annapurna III (7755m.) and Fishtail.

Day 8: Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul & Drive to Pokhara: 4-5 Hours Trek

Stop At: Hotel Crown Himalayas
After breakfast drive to Chitwan. The road snakes through the verdant forest to Chitwan. On reaching Chitwan you will be greeted by the hotel representative and will hand you the full schedule of the activities that you will be doing throughout your stay in Chitwan. Then you will have lunch.
Activities at Chitwan includes: Lunch followed by a tour of Tharu village and parks visitor center. Sunset view from Rapti River, dinner & cultural program.

Day 9: Full day Pokhara Sightseeing Tour.

Stop At: Hotel Crown Himalayas
Breakfast at the hotel. You will have a private vehicle and a professional tour guide at your disposal. The places you visit are as below:
Bindhabasini Temple:
Lies in the center of religious old bazaar. It is dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati, yet another manifestation of Shakti. The park grounds offer a fine picnic and relaxing area.
Davis fall:
Locally known as Patale Chhango and in the southern flank of the Pokhara valley is where the stream flowing from Fewa Lake collapses and surges down the rock into a deep gorge, leaping through several potholes. This is hugely popular with tourists and locals alike.
Gupteshwor Cave:
The revered Gupteshwor Cave is situated 2 kms from Pokhara airport. The entrance is right across from Devi’s fall and the cave is almost 3 kms long. It has some big hall-sized rooms and some passages where you have to crawl on all four. This cave holds special value to Hindus since a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here in the condition it was discovered.
Phewa Lake and Barahi Temple:
Situated at an altitude of 800m above sea level, it is the second largest lake in the kingdom. With the Barahi Island Temple in the middle of the lake it is the most important religious monument in Pokhara. Built almost in the middle of Phewa Lake, this two-storied pagoda is dedicated to the female force Shakti. The reflection of Mt. Machhapuchhare and Annapurna can be seen in its serene water. Thick forest lies on the adjoining southern slopes of the lake.
Seti River Gorges:
Carved by Seti-Gandaki is one of the natural wonders of Pokhara. K.I. Singh bridge at Bagar, Mahendrapool & Prithivi Highway Bridge near bus park, provides a perfect view of the river’s dreadful rush and the deep gorge made by the turbulent flow of white water.
Tibetan Refugee Camps:
The Tibetan village Tashiling in the south and the Tashi Palkhel village in the north of Pokhara are renowned for the production and trade of woolen carpets and other handicrafts. The original Tibetan settlers in this region migrated to Nepal in the ‘50s.

Day 10: Drive back from Pokhara to Kathmandu : 6-7 Hours drive/25 min flight
