Afternoon Whale Watch

Check in at 1:30 for a 1 - 2-hour whale watch. Depart from Kawaihae Harbor on a cruise in search of Humpback Whales aboard either the Kohala Diver or the Reel Screamer (based on group size). Our knowledgeable crew will share interesting facts about our migrating visitors. Encounters often include Humpback Whales and their calves displaying breaches, spy hops, tail slaps and more. Dolphin pods can often be found along the coast as well. Our professional on board hydrophone picks up sounds and songs of the whales in the area.
