Try Scuba Diving

Here at Scuba-Fun, the Discover Scuba Diving course is a real dive experience during which you learn all the basics of scuba diving and then get to go out on the dive boat and do 2 real dives on our beautiful coral reefs. In the morning (generally around 8am), we begin with an introductory video (about 30 minutes) and then you do a knowledge review with your instructor. Next, we take you to our training pool, where you learn to breathe underwater, clear your mask and perform basic safety exercises. You will also get to practice swimming underwater when you are weightless. The pool session takes about 1 to 2 hours, but we give you enough time to feel comfortable and confident before we leave the pool. You then have a lunch break, and at around 1pm we take you out on the dive boat with the other divers to Pennekamp State Park, where you get to do 2 dives on 2 different locations on our reefs with your instructor. The length of the dives will depend on your air consumption rate, they are usually about 30 to 50 minutes each. You will see uncountable varieties of colorful fish and possibly nurse sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, goliath groupers and barracudas. We have no dangerous animals on our reefs, so you can relax and enjoy!

We take a maximum of 4 divers per instructor to keep the groups small and safe.

The price of this full day adventure includes everything you need for the experience (academics, rental gear, pool training, instructor for the whole day), and at the end of the day your souvenir certificate. All you need is a swimsuit and a towel.
