This is a gastronomic center, which successfully combines cultural and architectural, historical and culinary significance. The market was built with the financial aid of Lazar Brodsky, philanthropist and the richest Kiev sugar factory owner. The Brodsky family built synagogue, Jewish hospital and bacteriological institute in Kiev.

Kyiv synagogue on the corner of Shota Rustaveli and Rognedinska streets was built in 1898. It was Lazar Brodsky, famous Kiev millionaire and philanthropist, and sugar king who donated money for the construction. The building was built in a year; the works were carried out by the best construction company in the city the one owned by Leo Ginzburg. The grand opening and consecration of the synagogue took place on the day of the 50th anniversary of Lazar Brodsky – on August 24, 1898. For three decades, the building functioned as a Jewish religious center. In 2000, the grand opening of the renovated Kiev Central Synagogue took place.

City estate in the center of Kiev, a monument of architecture and history of the city. Fedor Trepov, the former mayor of St. Petersburg commissioned the mansion to Vladimir Nikolaev, prominent Kiev architect. Construction was completed in 1879. Having bought the house with adjacent territory in 1896, Simha Lieberman, sugar factory owner asked Nikolaev to rebuild the building. Lieberman lived in this house up to his assassination in 1917.
