Meet your guide in front of the entrance to Arsenalna station and start the tour descending 345 feet under the ground by two escalators. This is a unique and fascinating experience.
Take a ride by the red subway line and cross the Dripro River contemplating picturesque panorama of the city. Continue the tour at the Universytet Station, where your guide will show you prehistoric ammonites – creatures stoned in pink marble halls.
From Teatralna Station switch to the green line and explore one of the most beautiful stations – Zoloti Vorota. It represents beautiful neo-byzantine style of the Kyivan Rus palaces and is very deep as well. Next stop is a relatively new station Osokorky, which became famous in 2018 due to the artistic project of street art painters that created eight murals on the station walls. It is completely different approach and style in comparison to the old soviet stations and yet another attraction of our metro system.
Finish the tour in the very center of the city, as you switch to the blue line and arrive to Maidan Nezalezhnosti Station, located just underneath Independence Square. This tour is a great idea for everyone who want to see the city from an unusual perspective and learn something new.
