Stop At: Volcanoes National Park, Musanze Kinigi, Ruhengeri Rwanda
The tour will start and end in Kigali the capital of Rwanda. Our driver will pick you from your Hotel or Lodge(after having breakfast or with packed breakfast) at 4:30 am to start on your 2 hours journey to Volcanoes National park.
The journey to Volcanoes national park takes an average of 2-3 hours and on reaching the park offices, you will be briefed by park officers. You will then be led into the forest by a ranger guide to track the primates.
Proceed in the forest as you view the mountains, trek to find the primates as you spot out different bird species. The trekking takes about 2-4 hours to locate the golden monkeys.
These monkeys live near the edge of the park in bamboo forest, when you locate them you will only be allowed to spend one hour with them. Experience their day to day life as they jump from tree to tree which is interesting although a bit difficult to take a picture.
After an encounter with the golden monkeys you will be allowed to have your lunch in the middle of the forest as you enjoy the beautiful scenery of bamboo and rain forest. Later, our guide will drive you back to Kigali.
