Day 1: Kigali - Bwindi National Park

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Kanungu Uganda
Our representative will pick from from Kigali Airport or your hotel in Kigali. Visit the Genocide Memorial Center in Kigali.
The Kigali Genocide Memorial is the final resting place for more than 250,000 victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. It honours the memory of the more than one million Rwandans killed in 1994 through education and peace-building.

Later, you will be transferred in about 4, 5 hours to the Lodge. From here you will depart tomorrow for the gorilla tracking!

You'll sleep in one of their cottages. From here you will depart tomorrow for the gorilla tracking!

Note 2: We advise you to arrange an East-Africa visa in advance.

This is $100 pp and will allow you to multiple enter both Uganda and Rwanda

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park

Stop At: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Buhoma Kanungu and Kisoro, Kabale Uganda
Today is the big day where you prepare yourself for an encounter with one of Bwindi’s gentle giants: the rare Mountain Gorilla.

For most people this is the absolute highlight of their tour in Uganda. The time taken to track the gorillas can be as few as 2 hours to as many as 7 hours.

Once the gorillas have been located, your group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them. Coming face-to-face with a mountain gorilla is a truly humbling and emotional experience.

This is a fantastic and privileged opportunity to get up close and personal with Uganda’s very own ‘Gorillas in the Mist’. You will then drive back to Kigali Rwanda through Katuna or Chanika boarder for your overnight in Kigali town or your international departure flight.

Please ensure that you book flights that depart late from Kigali International Airport if you intend to fly back after your 2 day bwindi gorilla safari through Kigali
