About this activity
We pick you from the airport, drive to Nyungwe Np and you will enjoy the beauty of Rwandan landscape and learn why Rwanda is called a country of 1000 hills.
Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe and have afternoon birding
Upon arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you meet our driver-guide who, after welcoming note drives you to Bugesera to try Papyrus Gonolek until lunch time. After lunch, we drive to Nyungwe Top View Hills Hotel where accommodation and diner are booked.
Day 2: Full day birding in Nyungwe
After an earlier breakfast, our driver guide takes you at Uwinka birding trails where you have a whole morning birding at Bigugu trail to try Red-collared Mountain Babbler. We resume at 3pm at Karamba trail until 5pm and drive to hotel (Nyungwe Top View Hills Hotel) for dinner and accommodation.
DAY 3: Second full day bird watching in Nyungwe NP
After the morning breakfast, you drive to Bweyeye trail for different species. You willsee a high number of Albertine Rift endemics and other attractive birds including Dusky Crimsonwing, etc. we stop for lunch Dinner. After lunch, you have the afternoon birding along the main Road Cyangugu-Kigali. Dinner and accommodation at Nyungwe Top View Hills Hotel
DAY 4: 3rd Full day birding
After breakfast, we have the morning birding at Irebero trail to try Purple-breasted Sunbird and Stripe-breasted Tit until lunch time. We resume birding at 3pm until 5.30pm when we drive to Nyungwe Top View Hills Hotel.
Day 5: Half day birding and transfer to Kigali
After an earlier breakfast, with our packed lunch we drive to Uwinka and have a half day birding which ends at 11:00am then we drive back to Kigali to arrive around 17pm and we capture the night flight. END OF THE TOUR
