Artisan Food Distillery and Brewery Tour

This tour takes in locations in Killarney and Dingle. On route from Killarney to Dingle we stop at the Phoenix Organic Restaurant for a light snack. This quaint little restaurant with its organic garden specialising in organic wholefoods, home cooking and garden fresh local produce is a delicious experience. Travelling further along The Wild Atlantic Way we stop at Inch beach, giving you an opportunity to take some beautiful holiday photographs. Arriving at the world famous fishing town of Dingle, firstly we visit Dingle Whiskey Distillery. The building the distillery is located in was commissioned in 1840 to mill grain, the famine in Ireland ran from 1845 - 1847 inclusive so this building was producing food i.e. flour, while people literally out-side the walls were dying of hunger. Distilling of Irish whiskey and Artisian gin and vodka began in 2012. Following a tour of the distillery and some whiskey tasting we next visit Dingle Crystal production plant where you can see the master crystal cutters at work. Returning to Dingle town for lunch, we visit another unique little restaurant, where the flavours are truely exciting and unique. Following lunch you will have time to visit the craft shops of Dingle. Returning to Killarney, we have a special treat when we visit Killarney Brewing, their range of beer's provides for a wide variety of discerning palates, a range which includes lagers, ales and stouts. All their craft beer's are additive and preservative free, produced in Killarney in small batches using the finest natural ingredients thus ensuring premium quality, consistency and an exceptional flavour profile throughout.
