About this activity

The tour shows you the highlights of the Ring of Kerry as well as the most beautiful places off the beaten track. Travel over mountain passes and admire the striking views of the MacGillicuddy Reeks, Ireland’s highest mountain reeks. Misty peaks and bogs, fields criss-crossed by stone walls, and often even the tiny mountains roads, are populated by sheep. Climb the walls of Ancient Stone Forts and explore the remains of a castle. Travel along narrow Wild Atlantic Way coastal roads with secret coves, cliffs and golden beaches.

Enjoy the stunning views from Geokaun Mountain and Fogher Cliffs on Valentia Island. At the summit of this mountain peak you’ll enjoy 360 degrees views, including the Blasket Islands far out in the Atlantic, Mount Brandon rising up from the Dingle Peninsula, the lighthouse on the rocky coast below and the McGillicuddy mountain reeks.

Be amazed by all the scenery along the Skellig Ring and enjoy stunning views of the Skellig Islands in the distance. The Skelligs are two steep-sided rocky islands in the Atlantic ocean. Skellig Michael is famous for the remains of an early Christian settlement, and more recently because part of StarWars was filmed here!

Enjoy the colorful towns and villages along the Ring, including Caherciveen, Portmagee, Waterville and Sneem.

The tour can start from Killarney, Kenmare or Sneem, and you will be collected at your accommodation.

Lunch is not included in the tour price. During the day we can make a stop for lunch in a traditional pub, or you can enjoy your picnic lunch in a spectacular setting.
