About this activity
By embarking on this cultural excursion, you will learn how to speak like a bonafide Jamaican. This intimate presentation and role play session is held in a private apartment in Kingston using projectors and taught by a certified instructor that is fluent in speaking English.
You will be picked you up at your accommodation in Kingston and transferred to the safe apartment in Kingston. You will receive a 1.5 hour presentation and role play session where you will learn and speak some common Jamaican words and sayings. The expert instructors and presenters will make you feel as if you are at play while you learn about the history of Patois, common greetings and some of our local proverbs. After the end of the presentation you will be able to ask questions.
Once the lesson is complete you will be served refreshments. Before you leave the apartment you will have an opportunity to purchase unique merchandise and memorabilia such as t-shirts with Jamaican sayings, custom thumb drives with a Jamaican e-book, music CDs, car stickers, wrist bands, reusable water bottles and more.
After your lesson you will be returned to your accommodation in Kingston.
