Wallilabou Heritage Park and Falls

Wallilabou Heritage Park and Falls- Located on the leeward coast of the island, 2 minutes drive from Wallilabou Bay- site of the film set for The Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Size doesn’t matter with this site. Though relatively small, the fall and its small pond is quite enjoyable for all ages. The fun-sized waterfall is complimented by a tree sheltered recreational park. This was also the water catchment area for the water operated Arrrowroot Factory that cease operation in the early 1980's. It is now a major stop for cruise customers traversing the leeward coastline because of its cool setting and clean washroom facilities. You have not lived life to the fullest if you have not been there. Facilities include information/welcome booth, restaurant, bar, bathrooms, gazebos, benches and parking. The other stops on this tour are as follows: Fort Charlotte, Fishing Town of Layou and Barrouallie, Pirates of the Caribbean Movie Set at Wallilabou Bay and Buccama Beach.
