Discover Scuba Diving at Koh Tao or Sail Rock from Koh Samui

About this activity
During the discover scuba diving program you will learn basic safety concepts and try out the equipment used for scuba diving. You will then make your first dives to a maximum depth of 12m and discover a fantastic underwater world.
The day begins around 7 - 7.30am when you are picked up from your resort and taken to meet up with your instructor. You are then taken by speedboat to the beautiful island of Koh Tao or Sail Rock, which is about 1 1/4 hours away. On Koh Tao there are some fantastic bays which are ideal for beginners to experience diving for the first time, with clear blue water and lots of marine life for you to see. For your first dive, you are usually taken to a bay which allows you to walk into the sea from the beach, helping you to slowly build up your confidence.
After you have completed the first dive, take a break for an hour or so when lunch is served, which you can eat on the boat or on the beach. After lunch the boat is moved to another fantastic dive site to make your second dive.
Arrive back to Koh Samui around 3.30pm. Once back on Koh Samui you will be able to fill out a logbook for the dives you've done that day. After that is done, one of the taxis will be ready to take you back to your resort.

- Minimum age for discover scuba diving is 10 years old. If you want to bring your child on the boat while completing your experience, we will charge you 2700THB. This is our standard snorkeling rate

- Confirmation will be received at time of booking
- Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (e.g. asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
- All passenger shoe sizes MUST be advised at time of booking (US/UK/EU)
- Minimum age for discover scuba diving is 10 years old. If you want to bring your child on the boat while completing your experience, we will charge you 2700THB. This is our standard snorkeling rate
- Minimum drinking age is 20 years
