About this activity
After hotel pickup on Koh Samui, travel by speedboat to the island of Koh Nang Yuan. With three smaller islands making up this amazing destination, all connected by a large sandbank, Koh Nang Yuan offers an unbroken stretch of clean white sand to relax on. You’ll find fabulous corals and an amazing array of brightly colored fish in the crystal-clear, warm waters where sea turtles are also a common sight.
Spend your time swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing at this postcard-perfect spot before continuing on to Koh Tao. The island gets its name (translated as Turtle Island) due to its shape, and is renowned as one of the most scenic places for diving and snorkeling in the Gulf of Thailand. (Hint: You might spot sea turtles here too!)
After lunch is served, dive into the crystalline water to explore the corals and abundant marine life along secluded Aow Leuk or Leam Tien beaches, one of which will be visited (subject to weather and water conditions). Rest assured that both options provide plenty of picturesque vistas for swimming and snorkeling.
In the late afternoon, hop back aboard the speedboat for the return ride to Koh Samui with drop-off at your hotel.

I thoroughly recommend visiting Koh Tao but do not use this tour company. On our boat only two out of three engines worked, and we were over taken by many other speed boats as we were so slow, spending about 4 hours in a very overcrowded speedboat. Also, don't expect flippers for snorkelling :(
