About this activity
After departing your Koh Samui hotel or resort by minivan, take off on a photography tour to capture the island's vivid sights on camera. A typical afternoon includes a stop at the Golden Pagoda (Laem Sor Pagoda) to admire the tranquil scenery set against the turquoise sea, followed by a look at the out-of-this-world rock formations of Hin Ta and Hin Yai. Although often crowded, the popular Big Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Yai) is a not-to-be-missed signature site of Koh Samui. Spend about 30 minutes here before moving on to explore the colorful Buddhist-themed murals and statues at Wat Plai Laem.

This is not a photography tour. It's a sightseeing tour. The guide knows a little about the sights, but says very little. He knows nothing about photography. The vehicles were very comfortable and we could stay as long as we wanted. Unfortunately there wasn't much to stay for.
