Stop At: Koyasan Okunoin, 550 Koyasan, Koya-cho, Ito-gun 648-0211 Wakayama Prefecture

Okunoin is one of the most sacred place and a popular pilgrimage spot. You can walk through the pathway and take a look at the Japanese tombs of Japanese famous people.
There are 53 shukubo, temple lodgings where you can try shojin-ryori (vegetarian) lunches as well as stay in Koyasan.
