Day 1:
Cochin to Munnar
• Arrive at Cochin Airport or Railway Station. Proceed towards Munnar. (130KM/3-4 hours)
• Walk through luxuriant tea estates wrapping the mountain ranges here.
• Accommodation in a Tea Estate
Day 2:
Munnar to Thekadday
• Take a tea plantation tour.
• Visit the Kannan Devan Tea Estate and see how the tea processing in done.
• Post lunch take a relaxed boat ride on the Mattupetty Dam.
• Leave for Thekkady
Day 3:
Thekadday to Alleppey
• Visit the Periyar Lake.
• Take a boat ride on the Periyar Lake
• Post lunch, visit a spice plantation.
• Leave for Alleppey.
• Put up in a Heritage Lagoon Resort.
• In the evening, you can enjoy pedal boating, fishing, canoe riding etc inside the resort.
Day 4:
Village walk & Houseboat stay
• Just after breakfast, go for a short village walk. It is a great experience as you see the lives of the people around the backwaters.
• Relax in the Houseboat as you ride through the Alleppey Backwaters.
• Enjoy fresh fish for lunch and snacks.
• Dinner and Overnight stay in Houseboat
Day 5:
Alleppey to Cochin
• Breakfast in the morning and check-out from the Houseboat
• Proceed towards the Matsyafed Narakkal Fish Farm for the fishing and “flying fish”experience. (40 KM/1 hour)
• Spend the rest of the day/half day in the Fish Farm.
• Enjoy fresh fish for lunch and snacks.
• In the evening visit the area around Fort Cochin.
• Watch the sunset behind the famous Chinese Fishing Net.
Day 6:
Arrival in Agatti
• Take the morning flight from Agatti (flight charge not included in the package)
• Arrive in Agatti Island by flight from Cochin
• It is one of the most picturesque airports in the world.
• A car will come to the airport to take you to the jetty.
Day 7:
Turtle watching in Agatti
• Take a boat ride to Parli 1 and Parli 2.
• On the way back enjoy turtle watching.
• As you return you pass through the lagoon which has thousands of turtles, a feast for the eyes.
Day 8:
Snorkeling
• In the morning enjoy snorkeling in the lagoon between Thinakara and Bangaram,
• The water is so clear that you don’t need a glass-bottomed boat to enjoy the corals and fishes.
• In the evening visit the Thinakara/Bangaram Island.
Day 9:
Depart from Agatti
• Leave Thinakara/Bangaram early morning for Agatti.
• Take the flight back from Agatti.Depart from Agatti
