Stop At: Vembanad Backwaters, back waters, Kumarakom, Kerala 686144, India

We will pick you up from anywhere in Kochi and we will drive to Alleppey or Kumarakom as per your preference. If you are not staying in Kochi, you will be picked up near Princess Street in Fort Kochi. If you are arriving in the airport, Cochin Airport Pickup is available as well.

Our driver will pick you up by private A/C car and from there you will be driven to Kumarakom or Alleppey where you will check in to the Kerala houseboat . Enjoy a tender coconut welcome drink as the crew get ready for the cruise. Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditional Kerala style "Kettuvallam" Houseboat. While cruising in this floating vessel, let your eyes enjoy the scenes of the Kerala countryside as you skim past children waving at you, mowed down paddy fields, local inhabitants as they make coir products, rustic homes, ferry transporting fish and coconut and swaying coconut palms.

You will be served a traditional a Kerala lunch in a banana leaf at noon along with fish prepared in Kerala style. You may enjoy the lunch while the houseboat is cruising on these backwaters. Take a siesta or enjoy the scenes along the shores in the afternoon. Some of the typical scenes you will see include a ferry boat moving along with school children, people working in paddy fields, or a tuk tuk moving along the shore. Around 4 PM, you will be served tea along with snacks like banana fritters and biscuits. Check out from the houseboat in the evening and return back to Kochi by 7 PM after a wonderful day spent enjoying Kerala's famous backwaters. Go back with many memories of this beautiful and unique backwaters of Kerala.

Our representative will pick you from your location at Kochi ( including any resort, airport and port )and will be provided A/C transportation in private car. We should try to depart from Cochin at 9.00 AM so that we can reach the destination for houseboat day cruise like Alleppey or Kumarakom within 75 minutes. Check in to the houseboat by 11 AM ad start the cruise by 11.30 AM after the welcome drink. You can enjoy the attractive sights of Kerala country side while your backwater cruises.

Enjoy the scenes in a Kerala country side in a backwater cruise. The backwater cruise in lets you skim past verdant paddy fields, view rustic homes, vast coconut groves, swaying coconut palms and local inhabitants involved in coir production etc. Start from Alleppey and enjoy the beauty of Vembanad Lake, you can explore the mystic beauty of backwater attractions in Alleppey. The route provides you with enchanting scenic sights and takes your one day for the travel.

For Lunch we will have Kerala Houseboat Menu like Sambar, Rice, Aviyal, Thoran, Pappad, Curd, Pickle, Green Salad and non-veg variants like Chicken curry, Karrimeen Fish Fry which is special in Kerala. After having lunch, continue with the sightseeing in Alleppey, later the tea and snacks will be served by 3.30 PM. By evening 5.00PM, check out from the houseboat and start return journey to Kochi. We will drop you back in the city or airport by 7.30 PM. If you have an early flight or ship then we can leave early from the houseboat so that you have a stress-free and comfortable departure.
