About this activity
The Kolkata Heritage Walking tour starts with a pick up from your hotel around 07:30 am. From there we drive towards the Dalhousie Square.

The starting point for a walking tour is the Governor’s House (Raj Bhavan) followed by the Treasury Building, St. John’s Church and Kolkata General Post Office (GPO). Then you walk past the Collectorate Office and the Writers Building, which has a rich architecture style. While you are walking, listen to the interesting stories of the buildings of the bygone era narrated by a guide. The walk continues to the St. Andrew’s Kirk and from there take a straight walk down to the Old Court House Street.

Next, you will walk past by the Old Currency Building and cover other important buildings such as Postal Sorting Office and the Central Telegraph Office. After a walk towards, the Wellesley Place (now Red Cross Place), Raj Bhavan outhouses and the Great Eastern Hotel your tour comes to an end. The driver will pick you up from the Curzon Park and drop you back to the hotel.
