Day 1 Kolkata – Varanasi
Meet your driver at your hotel who will transfer you to Kolkata airport for your flight to Varanasi (tentative departure time would be 1430), on arrival you will meet our local office executive you will then transfer you the ghats (steps) of Ganges where you will witness, an uplifting aarti (fire) ceremony in Dasawamedh Ghat (steps). This marvellous light ceremony is filled with religious songs, prayer and ritual which is performed every evening during sunset. Later check in to your hotel.
Day 2 Varanasi
Begin your day with an early morning sunset boat cruise on the Ganges. Return to the hotel for a delectable breakfast. Then, visit Sarnath, one of the most revered Buddhist pilgrimage centres. It is believed that after attaining enlightenment at Bodh Gaya, it was here that Lord Buddha preached his first sermon, sanctified as Maha Dharm Chakra Parivartan. Drive back to Varanasi. The afternoon is dedicated to a visit to important temples in this holy city. Experience the hustle bustle of city life in Varanasi.
Day 3 Varanasi – Kolkata
The morning is free to enjoy the facilities of the hotel, later meet your driver at your hotel who will transfer you to Varanasi airport for flight at around 1210 to Kolkata. Arrive in Kolkata and be met by your driver who will then transfer you to the location in Kolkata which was shared by you while booking this trip.
