About this activity
Descend from Njegusi village to the old town of Kotor. This is an absolute 'must see' of Montenegro; you start from Krstac pass (magnificent view of the whole bay area) and go down on an old military zig-zag-road (more than 70 U-turns). Finally you reach an old deserted village (Spiljari) with an interesting church, the venetian fortress San Giovanni and finish the tour on a stairway ending directly in the centre of Kotor. Easy trails, only one short part directly after the pass where there are loose rocks and you have to watch your steps.

Ivana was INCREDIBLE! We loved the hike and she was so fun to chat with! Her English was great and she was so friendly. I Highly recommend this tour, the views are AMAZING! Make sure to stop at the little house about halfway down to get fresh pomegranate juice! :

Very interesting tour and the guide was an entertaining sould. Our fellow hikers were fun too. If you are looking for something active to do rather than just look at old buildings, this is definately a good choice. Just was they would have given us a map of the city to find our way out instead of just leaving us at the back gate though.
