A man called Nicora collected my partner and I from the port in Kotor and drove us to Perast approximately 20 minutes away. I asked what else we were doing and was told that there is a boat available to take us to a small island where we could visit a church, which we were told was not included in the tour, but Nicora wanted us to enjoy our visit, so he paid for us to go to the island from his own pocket. I expressed my feelings about the tour to Nicora and he explained that his boss was the one that made the decisions. I spoke to a local taxi driver and asked how much the journey was from Perast to Kotor port and was told 20, which made me question what I was actually getting for my 130 if I could get a taxi from and to the port for 40, maybe less if negotiated. I called Nicora's boss and told him why I wasn't happy with the tour and told him I could have hired a taxi for much less. His reply was Then that's up to you. On the other hand, Nicora was very pleasant and smartly dressed, but unfortunately didn't have much knowledge about the area and it's history and works for a man who is only interested in robbing tourists of their money.

This tour seemed more like having a driver than a tour guide. Our driver took us out to where we caught the boat transfer to the Church of Our Lady of the Rocks. Once back, we were free to walk around but there wasn't really much there. We ended up going in early and being dropped off by the Fort so we could shop..
